I remember when this place first opens. It is it too long ago, but pumps already looks dated and beat. Maybe it is the neighborhood. Some pump gave me issue that keep stopping and you have to remove the pump and insert again in order to pump. I hope they maintain their pumps better. read more

Went today for a car wash like i have been for years. I don't know what was going on with the car in front of me, but looked like he had only soap on his car. He went inside and came back and drove right thru the car wash. I waited my turn. Inserted my card and chose the deluxe wash. Drove in, parked and waited. The wash goes on, red and green lights like Normal but this time no soap or water is dispensed. I sit thru the whole thing and exited and parked next to the air machine. Car is still dirty as it entered. I go inside and tell the clerk about the water and soap not dispensing. He proceeds to tell me the guy ahead of me was suppose to do something. I kindly tell him I don't know what he was suppose to do but the soap and water didn't dispense for me. He asked me what happened and I calmly told him I have no idea. I did what I normally do. I drive up, insert my car (which I the show him the charge on my mobile app that says Leffingwell Chevron for $8) and drove thru. No soap or water. I point him to my car and tell him to look it's still dirty. He says he doesn't know what happened and I tell him me neither but I paid for a wash. Even after I show him the mobile charge ken my phone and he can clearly see my car isn't clean he still said he didn't know what happened. He then tells me I need to come back and speak to a manager and look at the tape. Why would I come out of my way at 100 degree weather to con a gas station car wash out of $8? Here's photo of the charge on my card and this occurred at 1:58pm. Doubt any Manager will read this review but if anyone else has this problem, reference it because I'm sure it won't be the last time you get second guessed for trying to just get a car wash. read more

Check your receipts. The night shift Cashier named Eshak likes to do funny business. I purchased some of those local snacks that come in the clear bags...pistachios and trail mix. They have big bold prices, no mistaking how much they cost. Transaction was complete. I asked for my receipt which by his reaction he didn't expect because he didn't hand it to me, I had to ask for it. As I walk out I noticed he charged me $1 extra between all the snacks, curious but no big deal I go back and let him know of the oversight and point at the prices on the bags. Easy fix right? Nope. Well he starts to explain that he manually added the additional money to cover the tax. Odd since the taxed amount shows ZERO. I point that out and tell him that that's not how that works. Besides, snacks are not taxable items. So anyway, he starts to raise his voice at me repeating the same thing and I remind him that I can hear just fine. He starts to laugh, you know that snarky sarcastic laugh and asks me what I want? Obviously my money. So I reply just fix it. Displeased with my request he hands me random change to appease me. Well he short changes me. If he hadnt already figured it out, I like to count. I remind him of the amount he felt at liberty to overcharge me by. He's clearly beyond annoyed and tells me to give him back his change and grabs a dollar from the register and hands it to me as if he's doing me a favor. I tell him thank you and walk away. He begins to talk under his breath clearly agitated by our prolonged interaction he waits and as I get farther away he says a few choice words and I can clearly hear him call me cheap...so I turn back around and asked him, "excuse me what did you just say?" Eshak is clearly not one for honesty as he does more funny business and fibs yet again by telling me he said "have a good day"....LIES! So In conclusion...Eshak lies and cheats and get upset with you when he gets caught. read more

Price gauging at its finest. I really hope people see this yelp review and not come here. During Covid-19 they are price gauging Hand Sanitizer and selling a small bottle for 13 bucks. Big Time Price Gouger ! Go down Lambert or La Habra blvd just a mile or so and gas is 20 to 30 cents cheaper at the Chevron. Car wash is also bogus, sometimes very little soap, plugged water nozzles and the water aint spot free !! read more

I love this Chevron. I'm really surprised at the low reviews. I've been coming here since they opened a few years ago. The store is always clean, and the service attendants are always extremely helpful. They've provided me with free air after purchasing gasoline so many times, without being annoyed by it. (I had a tire that kept loosing air the last six months.) The difference with this place is when you ask for help they gladly provide it. They never have an attitude but seem to enjoy serving their customers. This is why I go out of my way to go here. If you have an issue with something here you should respectfully bring it up to them, as they always seem happy to help. read more

Car wash is supposed to be "soft-water no spots" That's a lie. They rinse the car in hard water and it leaves spots all over the car. Then you have to go home and clean the car for 20 minutes removing the spots. You can't call and discuss it because they do not take phone calls. These owners do not give a rip about the customers...surly attitude and confrontational. Too many other stations out there where they treat the customers with honesty & respect...go somewhere else. read more

Love this new chevorn. They also have a really nice car wash . If you get a car wash and gas then you get 10 cents off each gallon which is really cool. Very clean and nice new pumps. Way better than the Arco across the street which is dirty and pumps are always broken and credit card machine don't work plus it's always crowded. read more

if i could give a zero i would. i am in a rush and paid for a car wash sat 30 mins for it to not work and so i go inside and the guy doesn't believe me so he makes me wait until he helps everyone else check out and then walks to my car to make sure i wasn't lying. its a f gas station it shouldnt take this long and then accuse me of lying lol. awesome job!! read more

I would also give them a 0 but it's not an option! I always use the car wash. On 4/18 I paid for the Works 9 bucks. The undercarriage wash and dryer would not work. I went inside to complain and Sam issues me another wash at no cost with a new code. Another employee who was suppose to be looking at car wash outside was on his phone so I left. I came home rewashed and dried my car. Today 9 days later I decide to go back and use my code and it does not work. I pull through car wash and go inside to explain what happened. Same guy Sam tells me I had to use it same day...whatttt! It clearly says expires on 7/26/18. Then he runs a CODE REPORT that somehow the code was used yesterday 4/26 so he said I am lying. I said why would I be here again today and look at your fricken cameras. He is very unprofessional and could care less about satisfying a local customer. He is mental. Great prices on gas but when the car wash doesn't work properly you don't get a credit or refund... The person behind the register just says oh well there is nothing I can do.... And leaves it at that. I told the man... So I just pay full price and get the service from the lower price and that's it?! He says nothing. So I tried giving an example... You expect for me to pay full price for this candy bar and only expect me to take half?? He didn't understand. I asked him how does he expect me to pay full price for something in which I only get half the service for? He then tells me there's still nothing to do. I asked him if he knew how many people go through the car wash everyday paying full price and getting half the service. That is a crime in itself. Charging customers and only giving them half of what they're paying for is a crime punishable by fine and or imprisonment. It's like the bar that Waters down their vodka and sells it to the customers at full price. I intend to contact the BBB to share with them their little scam and to expose the tierney of which this establishment is running to take the money of hard working people for their personal gain. 400+ cars get gas and a car wash a day at $9 a wash... $3600 a day just from car washes alone and they're taking our money.
