I was extremely disappointed with the behavior of gas attendant Williams. I had prepaid for $60 worth of gas, as my tank was nearly empty. However, he was busy chatting with the drivers of a fancy new red sports car and didn't pay any attention to me. When I noticed the pump had stopped, I politely informed him, but he didn't even acknowledge that I had only received $30 worth of gas and seemed to expect me to just drive away. I had to point out that I hadn't gotten the full amount I paid for, and instead of addressing the issue, he treated me as if I were trying to steal from him. This was very frustrating! When I pulled away, my tank was only half full, not full as it should have been. We had to get into an argument to get the credit back. Please just pay attention to your job stop making this your social event. I used to visit this station once a week! read more

A gas station attendant cursed me out, called me names and threatened physical harm to me because I pumped my own gas in the full service pumping location. Do not go to this gas station! Unless you are OK with being called names and having physical harm threatened against you by two gas station employees. The reason why this person started cursing me out and threatening me is because I pumped my own gas and when he told me I was doing it in the wrong assigned pumping station, I said I'm an Uber driver and I'm in a hurry. I just didn't have time to wait for him not finish his conversation with his friends. Like I said, I'm an Uber driver and I had a person waiting for me to pick them up. Waiting for the gas station attendant to finish talking with this other gas station attendant was not the kind of "full service" I thought I was going to get. Instead of driving my car to the self service and because there was no other cars trying to use the full service pumps I figured I could just get out and pump my own gas so I don't interrupt the conversation the gas station employees were having. I was trying to be cool about it. I didn't realize that it's socially acceptable to curse people out and threaten to kick their ass because they used the wrong gas pump. The employee who cursed me out and called me names for pumping gas gave me the impression that he may have been on drugs. His hostility over such a small thing was alarming and I will make sure that my kids know about these places that are dangerously housing unstable people. When I called and complained about it to their manager, the manager Denise said there are two sides to every story. She said the employees and I had an altercation. What we had was a gas station employee harassing and threatening a person just trying to pump my own gas and when the gas station employee walked up on me and got in my face like he was going to fight me, I didn't back down. so Denise says that I was to blame for the situation where her employer cursed me out and tried to fight me. I want to be very clear. I never said one curse word to those people, and I never said anything disparaging. I simply explain that I was pumping my own gas because I was in a hurry , and that's the reason why employees there curse me out and kick me out of there. The manager, Denise made it seem like I was the problem for getting cursed out and threatened for pumping my own gas. The person working there also shouted at me something like, "do you have a problem with me because I pump gas!?" I had never once uttered a disparaging word about the person's vocation. I simply stood there while he cursed me out and called me names and looked at the other employee who was watching with a smile on his face like he was having a fun time watching me be harassed. When I said to the second employee who was watching, "do you see this?" Making a comment about his co-worker who was cursing me out and calling me names. The response I received from the second gas station employee with a black eye, yes like he had been in a fight and his eye was bruised, and a smile on his face, "you're gonna have to leave." So I left and I said, "I know what kind of people you are". These guys are high as a kite most likely on Meth attempting to start verbal and physical altercations with people who are just pumping their gas. They thought I was a wealthy person from the neighborhood and they were attempting to goad me into a lawsuit. I'm not wealthy, I'm an Uber driver. I'm a regular guy getting verbally harassed and threatened by a man who was out of control and the second employee had to step in. I guess the guy with the black eye is the real manager around there. When I said to him, "I'm going to complain to the owner." He said, "go ahead, I'm friends with the owner." Imagine this was you, or your 16 year old kid just trying to get gas. Getting threatened by two gas station employees because you were just trying to get gas in an empty gas station. Sure I was at the wrong pump for self service. I admit my fair share of fault. But these guys power tripped hard and stepped over lines. They are not rational people. I am writing this to warn the community of West Linn. Be careful at the 10th street Chevron. Do not go here! Drive far away from here for gas. The managers here didn't believe my story and said that I am lying. What would I ever get for lying about this? Is there some sort of prize I'm supposed to get? If anyone knows will you please let me know what I won? I know some people in the world are shameless. It says a lot more about them than they will ever know. Consistently slow service when I come here. Too often I've seen frustrated drivers get out of their cars and take the hose out so they could leave. Interesting other reviews about service going down after business passed to son. We've been coming here for years, and it wasn't always this bad. I have not gotten attitude like the others have posted. I think they are consistently short staffed and burning them out. Huge thumbs down for an out of order air pump. I had a really low tire, and was seriously denied upon arrival. Have never used the bathroom so I can't comment on that. The inside store has always been clean the few times I went in there. Best part of the station, if there is a good part, is people/car watching coming out of the car wash and McDonalds. In the end, it's just a gas station. read more

My Son used to work here and he did his best being only 15-16 years old at the time. He witnessed a few drunk on the job supervisors as well as one cashier who would be constantly inappropriate with customers. He recognized her behavior because he was and still is a good kid. And he knew she was and still is a bad person. She thought his lack of attention to her was a form of some sort of mental defunct. Whereas he really didn't like her. Do not use their car wash. I have a black car. I joined their car Wash monthly club a year ago. I cancelled when they made a shady move and started charging more to my credit card. I decided to not support this business because of that move. I just went to Kaady Car wash and after a year, I finally see my shiny clean black paint. No more soapy film left on my car. Poorly maintained excuse for a gas station that is an actual hazard to their customers. This gas station has only one thing going for it: a convenient location at the bottom of the Salamo road exit to I205. My family and I use this gas station frequently to fill up after getting home from work, etc. Normally we don't notice other, non fuel, aspects of this station, however, this morning (March 6, 2019) I had to deal with a very low tire pressure issue. I took my car into the station, thinking that I could use their air compressor to pump up the recalcitrant tire. I drove around to their air/water station that is in the back of their lot, along a small roadway leading toward their car wash. Upon approaching their air/water station, I noticed that their water nozzle was gushing water at approximately 2 gallons per minute. While this would have been bad enough during the summer, this is the winter! The night of March 6, 2019, temperatures dipped down to 27F the night before, well below freezing. This had created an ultra-slick sheet of ice topped by running water. I knew I had to be very careful and this did not give me confidence in their ability to maintain their air compressor either. I then approached the air compressor and put in the $1.50(!) to start the compressor. Nothing happened. I tried multiple times to get it started, but the power light would not come on. One of the attendants came over and then attempted to assist me with this situation. He went over behind the compressor unit to see what he could do. As I was attempting to walk over to him, I hit a patch of wet ice with my feet and began to fall backwards onto the asphalt. Luckily I reached out with my right hand and caught myself on one of the steel pylons that protect the air/water unit, preventing my head from getting cracked open in a fall. Unfortunately, in the process, I wrenched my arm severely - I'm not a lightweight guy - and have had severe pain and movement difficulties in my right arm since that time (about 8 days). We flipped the power off and on, and reset the GFI circuit on the outlet connected to the air compressor. The power light came on for about 30 seconds, then went off. We attempted the reset again, but it did not stay on, no matter how much we tried. Eventually, we gave up and I drove over to the Valvoline next door, waited for a half hour until their manager showed up to use their compressor. I missed my early morning meeting due to having to wait, but the manager at the Valvoline was very helpful and topped off all of my tires free of charge. In summary, this Chevron has permanently lost my business as a customer and their lack of maintenance and pure negligence resulting in hazardous conditions for customers leads me to give them one of the lowest reviews I have ever given on Yelp. Please AVOID at all costs. read more

Friendly employees and clean gas. There's not a lot more you can ask for in a gas station... except of course clean bathrooms and a solid food mart. All I did was roll through here on one of the busiest travel days of the year and fill up on some fine regular unleaded. I didn't have occasion to test out the plumbing or the cleanliness of the commode. But I can say that I was in and out plenty fast, and the girl working on Labor Day did it all with a smile. One kid doing propane and another took 5 min to wash a windshield while we had been finished and another guy had been waiting over 5 mins to get gas. He finally started pumping his own. One star based on 1 experience: TRUE STORY. Following my friend to a job site we pull in the local gas station. It's Oregon, so I tell the awesome dude that pumps your gas for you to put $50 in my tank and $25 in my buddies tank. I hand him a $100 bill. He starts pumping both our gas and says he will be back with our change ($25). He comes back and says, " I'm sorry dudes, the as$h0*# inside wont give change, says he doesn't have it." What do we do then? The gas has been pumped, and that's all I have. So I go in and try to discuss the situation. Guy is a complete ass and says he don't have the proper change. I go back out to truck, my buddy goes in and pays for the gas, comes out and asks me for the $100 bill and hands me a 20$ and a 5$ bill. Then my friend says, "The stupid ba$+^€d had change for two 50$ but not a $100." I know I shouldn't give the store such a bad review for this clowns actions, but my review does not tell the entire 35 minutes of drama caused and lost, and they employ him. read more

This gas station used to be good. But lately they have been hiring people with an attitude. Yesterday I tried to buy some cigarettes, the ones I have smoked for years and I have bought there for years. I was given a different pack, explained to that those were the ones I was referring too and that THOSE were the only ones they carry. When I told her those were not the ones I normally buy, and that they DO carry the ones I normally buy, because I have bought them there many times well, she placed me on penalty hold while tending to everyone else. Last time they did not have the ones I wanted they did not give me attitude, they walked 5 steps, open a new box and gave me my cigs. I guess giving people attitude is easier. And I'm never coming back, life is to short for a gas station attendant to tell me I don't know what I'm doing. read more

Definitely a five-star gas boutique! :) Clean inside and out. Every time I come here, the employees are clean-cut, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. They keep the lines moving quickly because they staff enough people to do so. And where else these days do they offer to wash your windows? The reason I am writing today is because when I visited the other day, I had a feeling one of the tires was low, so after filling up I asked the guy if I could check the air in my tires. LUCIANO, who was also running the car wash that day, ran over to start the airflow, and was going to help me but had customers to attend to, but shouted that he'd be right back to assist if needed. As I encountered some difficulty with the hose, he was right there to give a hand, without me asking. The hose was a pain and I had to have him restart the airflow a million times due to a few complications but he kept assisting his car wash and then running over to make sure I had gotten the job done. A simple thing? Sure. But he performed that "service with a smile" that few people do with care anymore. I just wanted to acknowledge that he's a nice guy, the owners are lucky to have him, and that's what keeps me coming back to support this filling station. read more

Terrible service. Waited forever to get gas when it wasn't that busy. When finally received help, and gas was finished I waited another 10 minutes for someone to take the fuel pump out. Workers passed my car and went to several other cars that had just arrived or where there after me. I was not rude and patiently waited trying to flag a worker down. However, I was continuely ignored. So,I got out of my car took upon myself to remove the pump. It was then when a worker finally noticed and came over. To late... I put my gas cap on and left. I stated it was ridiculous how long I was waiting. The worker snickered and said "sorry" and walked away. What are we paying these people to do if I have to take care of my own gas???? Awful experience here where the gas attendant ignored me three times and would interrupt me everything I talked to him, at one point he walked away in the middle of my sentence while I asked him if he needed my Safeway phone number so that I could get my points. I'm beginning to think this is the least convenient and the worst gas station ever . The website says you open at 6am.. every single time I've been there at 6am it's still closed I have even tried to be there at 610 thinking some need an extra 10 minutes to figure out what they are doing . The last 4 times I have attempted to be there at 6 , NO ONE IS THERE. It looks like a deserted gas station Do people not understand what being on time to work means ? If your open at 6 that means your employees are there ready to work . Doesn't mean it's still pitch black and no one's there . Went inside to try and pay waited in line and was told I couldn't so am now standing by my car again waiting so I can tell the attendant what I want and go back inside and wait in line to pay. Fail! The price sign currently has its bulb out so you dont know the price late at night. Also the store doesnt have many deals on beverages. Maybe there arent deals so that customers dont shop and will keep the traffic flowing but cant be the case because their system always goes down. Though the attendants work very hard, at least most of them, their women's bathrooms are horrible. The manager Shannon isn't very pleasant, every time I go in there she never says hello, unlike the cashier who always has a smile on her face. She seems to ignore the customers by putting her back to everyone, at least when I have been there. While waiting to have my gas pumped, I was talking to one of the employees there about what it's like and they were not very pleased with the treatment of employees. The minors there dont take breaks, the management figures their breaks are when there are no customers. So they take their breaks at the stations waiting for customers. I know that I would NEVER allow my child to work under those conditions and no un-experienced employees should have this place as their first job. read more

Today I was walking by with my dog and they gave her a treat even though we were not purchasing gas or any other item in the store. She walked all the way home with her great smile and a treat stuck in her mouth like the proudest dog in the world. I am grateful they are a part of our neighborhood.
