Brand new pumps - cleanest I've ever seen, honestly! Other reviews say loyalty # doesn't work outside, but it looks like the renovated pumps resolved that because I was able to enter my # without issue. Large parking lot that wraps around the building, if you have a truck/trailer or RV and need to turn around. Second driveway is a bit steep, but not too bad for trailer hitches or lower cars. Greedy gas station! I purchased a car wash when I stopped for gas one night. It was late, so I decided not to get my car washed on that same night. When I came back another day to get my car washed, the code didn't work because I didn't realize it had passed the expiration day. I didn't know there was an expiration day for it. I went inside to talk to the manager and was told that there was nothing she could do. I know for sure there was something that could have been done. Go ahead and keep my $8 of the car wash purchase that I haven't used. They just lost 2 customers. My husband and I live nearby and we frequently use this gas station to fill up our cars. I stopped in this area today because my car was losing power, the tire gauge was saying the tires were low. However I had already stopped at a gas station to top off the air. Stopped at this Chevron to get gas and some water. When I entered the store there were two female employees behind the counter, one of them was talking about how she liked guys with an English or Australian accent saying how could you blame her, because she's a "white girl". She then continued to say as she walked into the store room that "white is right" I'm not sure how her obviously foreign coworker took those comments but I certainly didn't take too kindly to them and I'm American/white as they come. I purchased my water and drove up the block to the Mobile station to get my gas. If I could I would give negative 5 stars. This has got to be the worst gas station I've ever been too. The employees and the owner are very unpleasant people. If you happen to be the unfortunate person who has a vehicle break down on them and get some friendly fellow Simi residents to help you push your car into their parking lot to wait for a Tow Truck you and the Tow Truck driver will be met with rude and disrespectful people that work there. They think that you should have stayed out on the street to get ran over by a speeding car vs let you be safe in there parking lot. And for the Tow Truck driver to be safe wile loading your broken vehicle. There is plenty of other fuel stations right there on the same street. Use one of them instead. Don't support bad businesses in Simi. There are plenty of good businesses to spend your hard earned money at. read more

It's unfortunate that this Chevron, with as big a lot as it has, is often times empty. They have the best car wash (which if you use, you get $.10 off per gallon of gas!) The wash itself is no different than other gas station washes, the difference is that upon exiting the wash, your car is hand dried, and wheels are hand cleaned. My car comes out looking just as clean as it does at the full hand wash places. For a fraction of the cost. The people inside are friendly and helpful too! read more

I'm annoyed that my first Yelp review has to be a negative one, but the bizarre behavior of this woman (who told me she IS the owner so I assume she is) was possibly the most bizarre and rude customer 'service' I have ever experienced. The good news for her, is that instead of getting all pissed off and mindlessly bashing her and her I'm going to be as fair as subjectively possible, including the part where I went back in the store and yelled at her. See I believe in fair reviews, that being said, gas, snacks, cleanliness are are basically fine here, so if you absolutely desperately NEED gas or food, then shop here. Otherwise, drive on by. Here is my story. I went in to get some snacks on the way to an appointment. There were two women working, one seemed 30's or 40's the other was probably a teenager. I got my snacks and went to the counter to pay, and the teenager upsells me on a lottery ticket, which I normally never buy, but she caught me off guard, and as such I was considering the ticket at which point, I started chatting and joking with the women, as I tend to do as I am a gregarious and talkative person. In fact even when I don't want to talk to people they tend to talk with me anyway, and as such no one seems to ever have a problem with my talkative nature, and if they do they tend to send me cues to let me know I'm gabbing too much. So I'm joking with the teenager, telling her that if I win 55 million I'd give her a million, then I go on to joke about how if I do win, she can't sue me for half like you hear about in other lottery stories, and we are all laughing and chuckling and I'm about to make my purchase. I also, during my 'story'-telling, joke about how the reason I'm telling them this is so if I win we'll have a fun story about how we joked about whether or not I'd win. Anyway, at this point, what appears to be the owner (later confirmed) walks out from the back and very rudely says something like "just ring this guy up and get him out of here they don't want to hear your stories" and I'm flabbergasted and at first, apologetic, trying to understand why she is treating me this way. There was no line, no other customers, and the other two women were chuckling along with me. Then the middle woman turns on me and is like "You hear her- get out." I kid you not this was EXACTLY like in the movies how someone walks into a saloon and everybody likes him until they find out something he can't help like he's related to some bandit or something and they suddenly kick him out. So when I was standing there trying to make sense of the situation, the manager grabs my items and puts them back on the shelf. She would accept no apology, give no explanation, she just said things like "I don't like how you all come in here and get all big and tell your big stories we don't want to hear them." (which by the way I have only been there once before many months ago) and I said "Is there anyone above you I can talk to?" and she said "No, that would be me and I'm the owner." At this point I'm shocked and my feelings are hurt, and I went out to my car, and then I lost my temper and went back in and screamed (not sure if I cursed by the way, I might have) "I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG!" and she said "that's real cute" and then the middle aged woman came out as if to make sure I'd leave pointing away and standing behind my car saying "you heard her leave." In short, I was treated like a drunk vagrant who was hitting on everybody inappropriately and I was simply joking about a lottery ticket that her employee upsold me on in the first place. So grumpy owner if you're reading this, first off let me apologize for screaming, that wasn't cool and I lost my temper. That being said, where do you get off talking to me that way? I know I'm talkative, and if I'm annoying I can think of a WHOLE lot better ways of politely getting me to move along, and I certainly wouldn't have talked as much had there been a line or had your staff not been so polite and engaging in the first place. I also want you to know, Grumpy Owner, that you really hurt my feelings and I don't feel I did anything wrong (other than yell at the end for which I am sorry). But I am shocked and amazed that even if I were behaving badly you think it's ok to talk to people that way. I have informed Chevron corporate of your behavior and I sincerely hope you leave the customer service/interacting with all humans business. read more

This is by far the nicest gas station i've ever come across. I may be biased because I work here but when I first started I assumed it would be a simple unkempt run of the mill "gas station job"...but let me tell you I was blown away by the quality of management, care, and cleanliness that followed. I was really put to work! This is the cutest privately owned Chevron run by a mom, her mom who started it with her husband many years back and her two sons who all grew up as toddlers around the store all the way to the mom! The oldest is now working there and the younger brother is in training still . I had no idea that they would be so supportive and caring of me, always asking me how i'm doing and making sure my work isn't getting in the way of my schoolwork...it didn't take long before I felt just like part of the family. This is by far the cutest and well managed gas station there is, and I hope whoever's reading this can stop by at least once and experience the support and care that I did, the support and care that they tell me the customer deserves. In summary, this is an incredibly well run gas station in terms of management, and it is run and privately owned by the cutest and sweetest and "picturesque" all American family you can find. In order to use your loyalty card you must go inside. You cannot enter it at the pump. The pumps are antiquated and click off every 10 seconds. The old lady that runs the place was very rude. She needs to learn a little something about customer service. read more

Wow! I couldn't believe how I was treated at this Chevron at Stearns and the 118 in Simi Valley! I just finished filling up my 52 gallon work truck and I went inside with my water jug and asked the lady behind the counter if I can get a little bit of ice for my jug. She told me that ice is 30 cents. I informed her that I didn't need a cup, just a little bit of ice. It was near noon and it was like 102 degrees! I told her I just spent $139 in gas. As the owner/manager walked in the employee asked the lady (dark hair and glasses) if I could get some ice for my jug. She rudely said "Thirty cents". I said, "I dont need a cup and I just spent $139 on gas." Again she rudely said, "Thirty cents!" I can't believe how rude she was! I told her I would NEVER be back! She ignored me.
