This Shell service station is located conveniently off I-8, east of Yuma, AZ;…read moreit's immediately after a large Pilot station and it's easy to confuse the entrances between the two. Shell offers gasoline, diesel, and electric vehicle (EV) (including Tesla) charging with 23 charge points; the price for gas was competitive. Restrooms were immaculate. There's a Subway restaurant on site, as well as a coffee station, and snacks galore. There's also a super helpful machine outside wherein you can purchase gallons of water (very useful in the desert! And, as part-time RVers, we'd love to see these everywhere). The primary reason for our stop was for my husband to get coffee, as he needed some caffeine given our long drive. He got a dark roast, which he characterized as good and hot. Seemed to be expensive at $2.66, but we're not sure of the going rates these days given tariffs on coffee. The cashier was efficient, but neither friendly nor unfriendly. We would stop here again.

The have a 16 pumps and I think they all have diesel. Super nice not having to wait for the one diesel pump to open up. There's plenty of room to maneuver your vehicle in and out of the pumps without having to wait for the unoccupied car at the pump to move! Inside is super clean especially the restrooms! And, the resteoom's decent sized so you won't have to wait there either. The staff are very friendly and quick at the registers. And as a bonus, they offer FREE coffee if you get fuel! How cool is that.

**July 2026: Friday Afternoon Visits**…read more My friend and I stopped here on both the drive to and from Phoenix during our road trip, and it turned out to be a really convenient place to take a break. We needed a place to charge his Tesla, and Quartzsite had plenty of EV chargers. Terrible's was just a short walk from the chargers and made for an easy rest stop. The restrooms were clean and plentiful, which we really appreciated after being on the road. Since it's Quartzsite, there were also lots of rocks and gems for sale along with snacks and drinks, which gave it a fun local feel. The AC was blowing hard inside, which was especially nice considering how hot it was outside. Overall, this was a really good stop and a convenient place to recharge, both for us and the car.
