Let me just say, I am well traveled and I've never experienced such a welcoming gas station in my life as this place. Their food is absolutely delicious! We shared a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito. It was amazing! Probably one of the best burritos we've ever had! We will definitely come here again on our next vaca to Mt. Hood. We even met the manager on duty who was so nice! You guys are the best!

Lovely customer service here at the ampm. We were the ONLY customer pulling in for gas. The pump…read moreattendant came over and, no hello...no niceties, just an immediate " you do know you can pump your own diesel in Oregon". To be fair, he was pretty busy reading the tag on the fire extinguisher when we pulled up. (For the record, we do know we can pump our own diesel here in Oregon, so don't head over if you don't wish to pump.) We also asked him if he could fill our propane, and again, although we were still the only car, he stated "only if I'm not busy". Needless to say we pulled away and decided against the propane. You may return to your fire extinguisher education instead.

I have also noticed that, while this Arco used to have some of the cheapest gas in the state, it is no longer much, if at all, different than surrounding stations, and not much of a cash discount. I'm not sure if this is due to the relatively new owners or some sort of regulation I don't know about, but not a lot of incentive to get out of your car and pay cash inside with maskless folks during a pandemic when you could just go down the street and use your card at the pump.

Easy on/off 26 (including one entrance at a traffic light), and easy access maneuverability to the pumps. As mentioned, there's also easy access to the main Fred Meyers store. Service. (4.5/5). This station had full service pumps. Being from a different state, we hadn't seen these in many years. The attendant was friendly, and helpful, reminding us that there's a discount with a Fred Meyers loyalty card. We have a membership but didn't have the card with us. He successfully put our telephone number in to get the discount. The "full service" only included pumping the gas; we're of an age that we remember when the attendant would also wash the windshield. We're not sure if there were self-service lanes. Value. (4/5). We paid $3.61/gallon (Sept 14, 2024), which included a $0.03/gallon membership discount. The gas station in Welches was advertising $3.55 on their sign. We're rounding up our rating to 5.0.

Not sure who would knock this location…read more.. Since they opened we have been coming here. The convenient location right at the intersection of Orient Dr and Hwy 26 is super awesome. A little bit interesting to get into if you haven't been there before, however the way that we drive it's very convenient particularly when we are on our way to Sandy. The last couple times it's been super busy. I'm not sure that the store has anything super wonderful that I want to go and get but I'm not there for that period I'm there for gas. I continually check the pricing and they are either equal or lower than Costco on a very regular basis Anyone who doesn't recognize this is not an aware person. They're often busy but they catch you very quick. Definitely we'll be recommending definitely we'll be going although I'm not sure that I want anybody else to know about it. I'm not one for lines lol

So....if you are driving up through Sandy-get gas! This is the older of the 2 stations and tends to be very busy. The store is smaller and doesn't have the amenities of the newer one that is located on the right before you get into downtown Sandy. If you need to use a restroom...go to the newer store! However, the staff at this gas station have been working here for years and are very nice. You will have to get out of your car and go into pay...FYI. They also sell the Mountain Parking passes here as well.

I then told cashier that if she is going to demand customers wear a mask, then perhaps she should wear hers properly. Daily shopper my entire life at this store. She works an early morning shift and EVERYTIME I would be served by her, she wore her mask under her nose. Now I never said anything because the whole mask thing is a joke, so I met her threat to kick me out by calling her out. I said if we are going to be demanded to "Play by the rules" then you have to play by the same rules. I was banned permanently from the store. And she never did fix her mask! Owners wife (I believe) was standing right there! I spend THOUSANDS of dollars there a year and have for a very long time, because I support my local business - NOT ANYMORE! Steer clear, the deli food sucks, and EVERYTHING in store is the HIGHEST price around from Barton to Estacada all the way up to Sandy. Their fuel is watered down and the Propane is the highest price for 10miles in every direction! Can YOU HEAR ME NOW!

So, I stopped by last Sunday 01/28/2023 at approx. 9:30 AM on my way to Church to get $10.00 worth…read moreof fuel, enough to get me to my destination. I started pumping gas, and 5 minutes later I was still at about $2.00. I went in to report to the people working in there that something might be wrong with the pump. The guy looked down at what I assume is something that can read the pump pumping. He says to me, " Well, you can move to another pump, but I can't promise you it will be any faster." I said to him, "you might want to go put a sign on that pump saying that it's out of order. His answer, " Well, what if it starts working again" smfh, REALLY!!! I spent 5 years of my life pumping fuel in the 70s and 80s. I'm almost positive as to what was wrong, the tanks feeding those pumps were almost empty, they were getting ready to run out of fuel. That's what's happening when the pumps start acting like that. It's not rocket science. Someone just needed to go throw a measuring stick in the tanks and measure how much fuel was left. Shortly after I pulled in, another gentleman and his family pulled in to the pump behind me. As I was attempting to pump my own fuel, I observed him go inside for a minute and come back out. I didn't think much about it at the time because I was trying to figure out why my pump was running so slow. After I returned from my chat with the guy inside, I asked the guy pumping fuel behind me, "Is your pump going really slow?" He said yes. So, I would bet anyone that they were running out of fuel or were already out and we were just getting what was left in the underground pipes. Someone there dropped the ball when it comes to ordering fuel, or measuring how much fuel was remaining in those tanks so that more fuel could be ordered. The dude inside who I talked to had an attitude and his customer service skills SUCKED. In other words, he was a dick. His attitude was like, "Oh well." Not my problem. I left him with a few choice words before I want out, hung up the hose and left. And to think I was in a good mood when I got there. lol
