I then had my car towed to the mechanic shop and they told me that diesel was in my engine. I use pump one so there was no diesel option so the gas station had diesel in that tank. I didn't have any other gas in my car. I was on the e when I went there so I know I didn't have it in there before I got there because my car wouldn't have made it to the gas station. I contacted their insurance company and got them all the information they needed and they've been avoiding me for weeks now. They won't return any of my calls or emails. It looks like I'm going to have to go to small claims court to receive my $3,000 in damages to my gas pumps in my car. It's funny every time you go there or call there you can never contact the owner. I wouldn't recommend going there for gas especially not on pump one.

I know that customer that went there on March 4. he is the one that fueled his own car with diesel…read more the pumps when being set inside only says fuel, the system inside the store doesn't set the type of fuel, it's the customer themselves that select a fuel type. he ruined his own car because he selected the wrong fuel type himself. the cashier takes the payment but the customer selects and pumps their own fuel. there isn't a control to select a customers fuel at the register.

This may be the last Buc-ee's we visit as our road trip is nearing its end. This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Our lunch consisted of brisket sandwich, chicken tenders & fries, and the three meat sandwich. I'm pretty sure their meat is not a true cut of brisket. Its consistency is like mush, and not like muscle fibers. There was nothing lean brisket vs fatty brisket. The brisket had holes throughout, making it look even more like an ultra processed deli meat or even lab grown. I was disgusted, to say the least. They also have ZERO options for people conscious of the ingredient lists. We bought popcorn and the bag was open at the bottom. I opted the top and it was super stale. I realized it was open on the bottom and the store game me a hard time about exchanging it. It's pretty clear the sealing process failed for this bag. We won't be shopping here anymore, nor will we eat their food. But if you're visiting Texas and come across one, it's a fun stop to pass time.

Well, look no further because Texaco on Broadway feels more like a beer station, than a gas station! Even though their gas prices are a little high (in my opinion), their beer and wine selection is out of this world. Whenever the hubby feels like a having a new and "interesting" beer, he always visits this Texaco location. They carry a wide selection of Texas beers, but once in a while you can find some very interesting beers that you've probably never seen before. Anyhow! Is your partner not into beer? Not a problem! Because they have a huge selection of wines and hard seltzer.

But, what this does is gives you faith in humanity, a little reminder that not everyone is listing to songs about pickup trucks on dirt roads, auto tuned crap or electronic "music."
