I contacted their insurance company and got them all the information they needed and they've been avoiding me for weeks now. They won't return any of my calls or emails. It looks like I'm going to have to go to small claims court to receive my $3,000 in damages to my gas pumps in my car. I was like, "Um, ok, what's that about?" I got home and looked it up. I found out it was Texan company. Then I decided I wanted to visit the biggest Buc-ee's in the Lone Star State. We landed in San Antonio and rented a car. Thankfully it didn't have a California license plate. We drove to Luling on our way to Austin. We pulled into the Buc-ee's parking lot. We saw the gas prices. Gas in Texas is more affordable than Washington State. Took a photo with the metal critter in front of the entrance then made our way into the store. Spacious, busy. Bathroom was clean. We picked up some brisket sandwiches and some sodas. Food is more affordable in Texas. We also bought some souvenirs to take back home including a red shirt with the beaver.

Even though their gas prices are a little high (in my opinion), their beer and wine selection is out of this world. Whenever the hubby feels like a having a new and "interesting" beer, he always visits this Texaco location. They carry a wide selection of Texas beers, but once in a while you can find some very interesting beers that you've probably never seen before. Anyhow! Is your partner not into beer? Not a problem! But this one in downtown San Antonio was the worst. When we were in El Paso, we had to wait 10 seconds to get a new bottle of creamer and the guy was so apologetic. He has his two free coffee coupons for the delay so every morning of this trip we've been excited about going to QT and having breakfast and coffee. But san Antonio was a complete disappointment. We had to wait 10 minutes to get some of the finally bring out creamer and the gentleman next to me another customer said wow she didn't have to have such an attitude. So I said OK good it's not just me. The app didn't work and a ton of employees standing around texting when myself another customers were looking for help. Only reason I gave it two stars instead of one it's because it was an inner city gas station, which I'm sure gives them a lot of problems. Two of their four coffee machines were down and many of their pull handle coffees were empty with just water coming out. Of the machines that were working, we had to let the staff know that they were out of coffee. Only one gentleman who is running a register seemed to be really trying out of the whole staff.
