They keep the store and property clean as well. While I value the hard work of their employees they don't enforce COVID-19 safety protocols. They allow customers in the store with no masks and sometimes their employees are not wearing masks. They do have hand sanitizer available for customers. Given they are handling food, they should consider stricter enforcement of these protocols. On a few occasions, there have been some shady dealings on the property which they don't seem to deal with. I am a regular customer and am none of those things. Because of the small child, I left her alone but she continued to harass me verbally and come into my space. The proprietors did nothing to stop her. This is not a safe gas station for folks of any kind. There is a Circle K with a Valero literally 300 feet away. I will pay the couple extra cents in gas to have someone stop a verbal and potentially physical assault.

If they are taking pizza out of the oven, or putting eggrolls or taquitos in the display case, they will put that down and check me out with my stuff, usually just sodas and snacks. Then it turned into a Shell station a few years ago, but it still wasn't all that nice. But I was driving by recently and spotted the 7-Eleven logo on the store. I hadn't seen one of those in years and had kind of thought the chain had folded. So I ducked inside to grab a cup of coffee. I noticed that the store is now considerably cleaner than under its previous incarnations. It is staffed with friendly people, and everything is nicely organized. The coffee bar is outstanding, featuring six different blends and a big dispenser for milk and half & half. I particularly appreciate the fact that the foods (sausages, empanadas etc.) are not self-serve, making things a bit more sanitary. This store has gone from a place I avoided to one I will happily visit for my morning coffee. Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven!

When up to pay and just politely tell her what was going on with the machine she didn't want to hear it and actually was very rude! I later just said ma'am I'm just trying to tell you what is wrong with the machine so you know! She said okay, and went on about her business! The other lady said her name was Maria, and that's what her name tag said! Being mean and rude to me is not going to solve her problems! It's so much easier than waiting in line to checkout. The second thing I like about Sam's is ordering online. I can place my order in the comfort of my home and pull up curbside and retrieve my order. It's SO convenient. Last but certainly not least, I like their products--cases of beverages, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, clothing and so much more. There's quite a lot of products you can buy in bulk to keep you stocked up. They are very good about returns. It can take awhile waiting in line, but there's usually no issues. I love how they keep up with technology. The scan n go, the quick lines. For that reason, I much prefer shopping at Sam's than the other warehouse store.
