He noticed my New England accent right away and actually paused to ask about it. That turned into a short, easy conversation that made the whole stop feel a little more human than transactional. I fill up gas in the RV at the other gas stations in Flagstaff. Twice since this incident. As a disabled senior citizen, it takes my husband and I a while to fill up the RV, get snacks and check the tire pressure. Excuse us that it took almost an hour to do this, and on that trip to the gas station we probably spent only $225. She came out yelling at us that this wasn't a parking lot. No Kidding. After having a flat tire on the RV, we went to get gas and water. My husband yelled back at her, yes, he was having a bad day, but nothing would have came of it had she not started yelling at the customer FIRST.
