I soon discovered that despite them having the green handled pumps, they don't actually offer diesel fuel. My wife soon discovered that the staff working here are incredibly rude and that their "bathroom" is a shed with a spray painted sign. Despite the fact that my wife had been talking about a restroom for 50+ miles, she promptly ran back to the car and we went further up the 138 until we found an acceptable bathroom and fuel station.

I didn't notice the condition of the bill at the time because I trusted that the cash I received from the store was acceptable. The next day, when I attempted to use the $50 bill to make a purchase, I noticed that it was damaged. I immediately returned to the Pilot Travel Center and explained the situation, requesting a simple bill exchange. Unfortunately, the employee declined to exchange the bill, even though she and her coworker were there when I had originally received it. Instead of resolving the issue, I was told to come back at 11 PM that Sunday. I find this response very frustrating and unacceptable. Pilot Travel Center should be accountable for the condition of the bills they accept and then give back to their customers. Customers should not be left stuck with damaged money after making a purchase at your store. I hope management looks into this situation and trains employees on how to properly handle situations like this. This could have been easily resolved with a simple bill exchange, but instead I was left feeling like my concern was being ignored.
