This place surely abuses the concept of "Capitalism"! They are the only gas station in a 2~3 mile radius and they milk it any way they can. Their gas prices are always 50 cents to a dollar higher than other gas stations in the valley. They are also the first ones to raise prices the minute there is an oil supply issue in the world! A pet peeve of mine is that their pumps are always out of paper and if you do need a receipt you need to lock your car and go stand in a line inside the store to get one. You'd think with this kind of pricing they could afford the manpower and rolls of paper to keep their pumps maintained. The convenience store is "convenient", but way overpriced. The only reason I (and I think most other customers) stop here is because of the proximity. But you pay a lot more for the time savings and the convenience. It might just pay off if you bit the bullet drove to another gas station. read more

Didn't even know it existed until today and was pleasantly surprised that they are carrying some local beers, especially a good selection from Paperback Brewing (try the raised by wolves), as I usually have to drive to The brewery in Glendale to pick up their latest stuff. Terribly rude. I stopped late to buy some water and snacks, get gas and use the restroom on my way to my mom's. I walked up to the counter because I was originally going to buy gas and water first but decided to use the restroom and then buy after. I asked where the restroom is and he said they don't have one. I looked around and it was to my right. I said. isn't that it? He said it isn't open right now. I naively asked if it was being cleaned and he said no they don't have a restroom "right now". I asked why. He said "to protect the bathroom at night". At this point I knew he was being discriminatory. protect it from what? Me? Apparently this man thinks I look like someone who would do something nefarious or disgusting in there. Which is so offensive as I am the opposite of that and an absolute germaphobe. I also know for a fact that people use that restroom at night. Not only is it illegal not to offer a restroom but to deny service from a paying customer... luckily I asked before buying gas or water but I mentioned so he knew I was a paying customer. I ended up going to a different gas station and they were NOT rude and prejudice jerks. Also when I was leaving I had parked in front of a pump since I originally intended to get gas And he followed me out purposely making it look like he was sweeping and came and swept where my car was. I've noticed the employees during the day/evening are fine, but the night time employee guy is the worst. I generally don't go very late but whenever I've went past 10pm, he's there and he's always rude and last time tried to tell me I couldn't use a passport to buy vapes? I am in my 30s, and a passport is a valid ID, so? Reading the other reviews here it sounds like other people have had similar issues with the late night person. I am a US Military veteran with a registered service dog. Cashier illegally refused service to me even after showing him the dogs registration badge. Poorly trained employees as they should know the rules on service dog access by this day and age. It is potentially a $10,000 fine to this business should I decide to report them to the ADA. If I could give zero stars I would. The store owner, Ford is extremely rude and unhelpful. All I needed was duplicate receipts to turn into my accountant and he told me it would be nearly impossible. Funny.. the day before I spoke with a very nice cashier over the phone who said she would find them..I called back later and she had found them but unfortunately her shift was done for the day so I spoke to another extremely rude cashier, Heather who told me there was no way to email or text me the receipts. First off, the night crew is disgusting. There is a person (I use the term loosely) named Angie who works there and I saw her literally cussing someone out in the parking lot. Unfortunate. Was excited for the new station. However the pumps don't work right. Myself and everyone else trying to fill up had the same problem. The nozzles would click off after just a gallon. You have to stand at your car squeezing the trigger the whole time. I should have known, the construction of this place was poorly managed and you can see the results, like no one tested the actual pumps from the customers perspective. Good location, convenient and the pumps work well. Unfortunately I avoid ever going inside because the staff isn't friendly. It's good if you are just getting gas and paying at the pump. If you want to buy lotto tickets, snacks or anything else I'd recommend going to the liquor store or market in the same shopping center. I have tried to make purchases inside before and both times a short, heavy set brunette was very annoyed that I was interrupting whatever she was doing on her phone. It's hard to imagine liking a gas station... but I really like this gas station. I'll go out of my way to get gas here. The people who work inside are SO friendly. Especially the morning crew. My tires were low once and I didn't ha e a pressure gauge to see HOW dire my situation was Ana the air pump was smarter than me apparently cus I cousins get it to work. I think the employee is named Norman- he had just gotten off shift but went out of his way to get his gauge, check my tires, and put air in the ones that were dangerously low. Bathroom is always clean, coffee is always fresh, and it's just overall really nice. I do wish they had like a fat free or sugar free option for creamer but that's the only drag, I did stop getting my coffee there because of that. The gas can be a bit pricy, but that's to be expected IMO as it's in Porter Ranch with no other gas stations north of the freeway and it's well maintained and kept. read more
