I had a very frustrating experience at this Circle K today. Around 4:00 AM, I purchased gas, but…read morethe pump was out of receipt paper. Since my employer requires a gas receipt for reimbursement, I went inside to request one. The employee informed me that the system was down and the screens were visibly black, so I understood and was told to come back after 5:00 AM. I returned around 6:00 AM, only to find the doors locked and a sign posted stating that the system was still down. The employee was inside behind the counter but was not assisting customers. If the system was unavailable for that long, the least that could have been done was to refill the receipt paper at the pumps so customers could obtain the receipts they need. I understand technical issues happen, but there was no effort to provide an alternative solution or customer service. Because of this, I'm now having difficulty obtaining the documentation required for reimbursement through my company. Very disappointing experience.

Book was judged…read more Well John, here I go. I originally came her with my wife to grab a drink and snack before church. There was 2 people ahead of us in the check out line. No problems, wait wasn't serious. The young black lady that was at the counter was having problems with her EBT card, and was trying to figure it out. (young black girl). No biggie, hey its Sunday, God's day. Poor lady asked the cashier if she could pay cash, but here was John, putting the young lady's groceries to the side. Bad enough she was having a problem with her card and felt embarrassed, but here comes the STORE manager, making her feel even worse. As if she was going to grab the groceries and run. Mind you there is another register, 2 feet away, and he chose to sideline her refusing to help her, while she had her wallet open to pay cash. During this, he is calling for the next person to come to the register. SHE'S STILL STANDING THERE! TRYING TO PAY! The other register is closed. If customer waiting is his concern, then open it up. We put down our things and walked out. Just can not stand dirty inconsiderate douches. A store manager at that, treating customers with no respect. She was livid, explaining how he made her felt, but he looked over her as if she was not there. We have a Mercedes route that goes through here during test driving. I'm sure I now can have the team eliminate gassing up here, which is more than $1000 a day worth in money they could have had, all because of this one experience. Prayed for you today John. Hope you treat your future customers better in the future.

Since moving to Vegas I have been to PLENTY of gas stations and been treated horribly but she was so kind. She said she had been there for about seven years. It's ridiculous how much cheaper gas is in Nevada than it is in California. Even the tax structure is unfair since EVs use our roads but only gas powered cars are expected to pay for maintenance of roads and freeways. Anyway, I try to keep my tank a bit lower on the way in to Vegas so I can fill it in Nevada. Waiting until the store is closed is definitely the way to save time and headaches since the lines are so much shorter and the gas stations are open for a few hours after closing. Since Costco has workers outside, there is much less chance of getting ripped off by people putting card skimmers on pumps or criminals trying to pull their usual shenanigans like they do at other gas stations. With prices entering the stratosphere with this unending war with Iran, we are fortunate to have an option like Costco to help us maintain our sanity.

But I still want to take the time to address this issue publicly I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the way I was treated at the Costco gas station located at 222 S. Martin Luther King Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89106. I have been a loyal Costco member for more than four years. Unfortunately, this month I simply forgot to renew my membership. When I attempted to purchase gas, I realized my membership had expired. I understand that Costco's policy requires an active membership to purchase fuel, and I respect that policy. What upset me was not the policy itself, but the way I was treated by the employee. The employee spoke to me in a rude and dismissive manner instead of explaining the situation professionally or offering guidance on how I could quickly renew my membership. To make matters worse, I was there with my 4-year-old child in 116-degree weather. We had already waited in line, and the interaction left us standing in the extreme heat without any empathy or assistance. A little kindness and professionalism would have made a significant difference. As a long-time member, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect, even if I was unable to purchase gas because my membership had expired. I hope Costco will review this incident, speak with the employee involved, and reinforce the importance of treating members with respect and professionalism, especially in extreme weather conditions. I remain a loyal Costco customer and hope this feedback helps improve the experience for other members in the future.
