I went to get gas at this location yesterday, and it lived up to its name, It Was Terrible! It was hot out, the pump reader did not work, I then went inside and the guy behind the counter put money on the pump, went out, and it still not work, I then went in again and come to find out he put money on the wrong pump! True Total Inconvenience!!! I asked to speak to a manager, he said he was not there, I asked for the managers business card and he could not give me one. I've been to 1,000's of gas station like many of you and this is actually the worst experience I have ever had. Very unprofessional staff, no manager on duty at 3:00 pm "at least thats what I was told", and pumps broken. Recommendation, DO NOT USE THIS ENTITY! They do not deserve our business! read more

This car wash is the best one in town! There is another Terrible Herbst closer to my house, but I drive to this one because it really cleans my car well. Today I got welcomed by Toby (I believe, he's the manager). I've had weird black dots all over my white car, and they were not coming off. Toby took care of this problem. All dirt was gone! This review is for Terrible Herbst Lube. The Manager, Glenn is great. This location seems to always be busy but the staff is very efficient and won't keep you waiting long for services. I've been here a couple of times. There are usually 3 workers and they never make me wait more than 30 minutes for an oil change. I drive a Mercedes C250 and although I have to purchase my filter from a Mercedes dealership prior to getting an oil change, I save an arm and a leg taking my car here instead of the dealership. If you have a European vehicle, Make sure to call them to let them know you are coming prior to showing up just verify if they can do your oil change. Staff is always great and friendly. I will always use them. I highly recommend their services. read more

I've been coming here for a while now and always have had a great experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I have the monthly carwash service and that allows me to wash the car several times a week for the price of 1 wash, that's amazing if you ask me! I even get a free soda every time I come. Went for a oil change and what a nightmare of a situation. Fist being that the techs have no training and don't even know to fill a filter with oil before putting it on, second the technician used his shirt underarm to wipe the dipstick off then thinks he's going to get in a $5k dollar reactor race car seat with oil on his shirt. Tech left his cell phone in my car which I was hesitant to give back, lastly the tech spilled oil all over my engine that I've had to clean myself and stop the car from smoking from under the hood and emitting the foul smell. I'd stay away from this group of amateurs. read more

I recently found that using the monthly car wash program can end up with your CC info being connected to someone else who has the same rental you've used in the past, first according to my bank statement from 5/30 to 6/30 my card was charge 3 times and after talking to rebecca at their main office and giving her all the rental cars I've used the car wash for, that someone who had the car after me signed up for the program and because the plate number was in the system they attached his name to my CC. read more

I've been to this car wash 3 times in a roll and my car got full of dog hair, pet dander and waste. It appeared the local pet shops had emptied their waste here. the dander was flying out of the vacuums. There was waste and dander being force into the car as you came out of the wash. If your not allergic one could put up with such nastiness I suppose. I had to use my rescue inhaler and had nose bleeds due to this. the attendant seem to vanish. I thought I was suppose to get a clean car by coming here, but instead it was dirtier leaving there. I had to go someplace other than terrible's to get a clean car. however i'm still getting the dander out. My car had gotten scratch also by this location, and they did nothing except deny it . they need to clean and wash off their hoses and parking area. read more

I've gone here a couple times for lube and wash. I've never been to any other full service car washes but here my car always comes out clean. Sometimes I have to drive down the street to the next location for 5w30 and come back for the wash but it is worth it. read more

Gas station, convenience store, automated car wash, and lube/smog. I've been going there for at least three years for oil changes and smogs. One employee at the lube/smog shack actually remembered me. What that says is very low turnover, with obvious reason. When I get my oil changed in my car (5w20 usually), the standard procedure here is to check air filter and recommend replacement, top off fluids, (supposed to lubricate chassis), AND inflate to manufacturer-indicated tire pressure. So, they do all that. And WRITE IT DOWN on paper to show me what they've found and what the recommend as an upsell. One example of upselling: transmission fluid change for $99, new PVC valve for $10. Normally, I distrust upselling. But these guys aren't trying to scam me, these are (in my amateur mechanic's view) legitimate recommendations for service. TONS of places around town I've had trouble with, like the time I took my car to a Bruce Scher Goodyear store for a balance and wheel alignment and then checked my tires to find pressure low on all four tires (how the @#$^ can you balance a tire without inflating to the proper pressure, let alone four tires?!). This place has TOP NOTCH PROCEDURAL SERVICE. In three years, I have never had ANYTHING to complain about, and as long as they keep their prices EXACTLY where they are at now, I won't ever complain about this location. Oh, and of course you get a free car wash with your $30 oil change. Gas prices are competitive, too. read more

I usually do not shop at service stations, since the pricing is always more expensive than what you would find at a local grocery store or pharmacy. However, on this particular day, I stopped to buy sodas. Upon entering the store, I was greeting by the petite asian lady behind the counter with a "Good Morning." I was so surprised by the courtesy, that I almost neglected to respond. After picking out two 20 oz. sodas, I proceeded to the checkout where the cashier informed me that I could get two packs of Wheat Thins FREE with the purchase of the two sodas! Amazing! A place that actually cares about it's customers. She could have easily just let me make my purchase and be on with the humdrum of my day, but a simple gesture like put a smile on my face. Although, with her accent it was a bit difficult to understand, she made an effort to look at the customer in the eyes, smile and provide a service (OMG!! What a concept!!). I am not easily impressed, but by far this lady left a good enough impression for me to write this review. I hope it helps! read more
