The cleanliness of this gas station is about the best you can get. They have state of the art touch screens on the pumps. But my experience today was not the best when it came to that. I had to try and press the button numerous times before it actually registered. The convenience store is very wide open with a great selection. They had my Gatorade zero that I was looking for. Big plus. The staff wasn't overly nice but not overly rude. I noticed they had a package store attached. Probably something I personally wouldn't use. Mainly because it is far from my house and non-ABC stores are expensive. But if I lived out there, I would definitely make a visit. Gas stations are gas stations. But as far as they go, this is one of the nicer ones I have been to.

They serve the special from 11-2 or until they sell out. They provide the option to call in, stop by to prepay, or walk-in based on what's available after pre-orders. Today's soul food menu consisted of baked chicken over rice, collard greens, macaroni and cheese and cornbread for $14.99. The portions size was huge, enough to eat twice from the plate. The food was served in Styrofoam plates with dividers with individual wrapped utensils and salt & pepper packets. Condiments were available as well. Drink was not included, but since the location is inside a gas station, there was many options to choose from. The baked chicken was a chicken breast that was bigger than the size of my hand. The chicken was so moist and tender, which made it easier to chew. Gravy was poured on top of the seasoned, fluffy yellow rice and went perfect for the entire dish. The greens are full of flavor and pair so well with the semi-sweet cornbread square. The macaroni and cheese was not as moist and cheesy as I would like but I eat it and enjoyed. Overall, the place receives a 5/5 for me. I'll be back to try a grilled lunch item next! -DASC
