The parking lot is poorly lit and has awkward to navigate entrances unless you are driving a large truck that doesn't care about driving up or down off sidewalks. I don't know if it's the norm but I felt like the guy at the counter was not all there. I try asking a question and he literally just looked at me... ummm, wow ok. He seemed to be watching a show or something... it was just very very odd. I know convenient stores aren't known for customer service that is spectacular, but it is nice if you ask a simple question to get a yes or no back. We were in a staring contest - and it just felt weird. I will say that I do appreciate the availability of freshish foods. I was hungry and had a snack I wasn't sure would be sufficient. I grabbed a pack of their sliders. They kept fine. Later I did eat them - I changed out the American cheese for Swiss, added mayo and Grey Poupon + some spring mix lettuce.

When you get to the pharmacy counter there's a special line just for people who are there to get the Covid vaccine. The people administering the shot (it was different each time) were friendly. The shot was quick and didn't hurt. I also like that the bandaids were red and had a 'w' on them instead of your standard issue bandaids. This is a bigger location with a lot of retail items. I only wish that the lines at the front cash register didn't have a long wait and that the signage of where to stand was quicker. I'm really grateful, however that I was able to get the vaccine close to where I live and in the evening (as opposed to during the workday).

The clerk would not accept his Mexican passport as a valid form of identification. I said that a passport is an accepted form of identification from any country. The clerk preceded to tell me that it wasn't valid in Oregon. I asked him how a foreigner could buy beer in Oregon then and he told me he needed a valid US identification. I told him he was wrong about that and he got abusive towards me and calling me an idiot as I walked out. Who are the real idiots here? You need to get it together before someone sues you for racial discrimination. I WILL BE SHARING MY EXPERIENCE WITH 7-11 CORPORATE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND YOUR EMPLOYEES NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CHECK IDENTIFICATION PROPERLY WITHOUT BEING RACIST! SHAME ON YOU!! PREVIOUS POST: I went in there to see if they had nacho chips in a bag. The African American guy told me they didn't. I then saw a sign with take out nacho chips displayed above the sign. It said; "chip 2 for $2". So I put two packages up on the counter with one other candy item. He rang it all up and said; $8.17. I told him that it says 2 for $2. He immediately challenged me saying that it does not say nachos, it says "chips". I ended up completely walking out angry because he was so confrontational and rude about the whole situation. He could have easily turned it into a good customer service situation but didn't possess the capacity to do so. I will not complain to the owner because she won't do anything anyway. I used to frequent this location because it's near by. I have had so many terrible customer service experiences that I will now travel a mile further for better service. Maybe you don't care but I'm pretty sure based on the reviews that I'm not the alone. GET IT TOGETHER OR FIND SOMEONE THAT CAN!! YOUR WELCOME!!
