We stopped at this Chevron on a road trip to get gas and a snack. The gas station was easy to access off the 5 Freeway. Overall the gas station was pretty clean and safe. The store has a subway inside and plenty of food / drink options. Also the bathrooms where pretty clean for a gas stations. The only negative and reason for a missing star is the gas prices. It makes sense they are high because of location, but definitely a con. read more

I came here to fill up gas because I was driving from LA to SF and can't do that on just one tank so I came over here. I was a bit scared because once you take the exit, it is in the middle of nowhere and that worries me. But soon after driving you find some stores and after I filled up with gas, I parked my car, went into the gas station to use the restroom (which I try to never do!) to my surprise, restrooms were neat, well kept! This is a spacious gas station, unlike the small cramped ones, and lots of packed food and some hot dogs I saw. I didn't eat anything but they have options. if i could leave zero stars i would. i stopped here for gas and went inside to put $40 on pump four. i was helped by a white woman named SYD she put the money on pump seven and when i went back in to tell her that the pump wasn't working she had the audacity to lie and tell her i had told her to put the money on pump 7. her and another white woman working both had airpods in which is probably why they heard wrong. it's very upsetting that i had to pay another $40 for their mistake. definitely would not recommend stopping here unless you're trying to get robbed. read more

Stopped around midnight. Gas was $3.99 for unleaded so more expensive than the average Cali. gas prices. Had to go to three different pumps cause they weren't wanting to read the card. Being a denizen of these parts, it's easy to see why travelers from the City or LA might find this Travel Center to be less than perfect. But after a day of guiding eager geo-enthusiasts (rockhounds) around the Panoche Hills, it's an oasis! The staff serve thousands of people each day, and yet always have a smile for me when I stop in. (Maybe that's because I treat them like a friend ... ) They are responsive, even when short of help. It's hard to get ANY help out there, much less good help, so give 'em a break and let them know when the bathroom needs service. The owners take pride in their establishment, so remember where you are ... The middle of nowhere. Cattle, sheep and farm country. Of course you'll see more flies. All that said, they do a great job in a place that's way out in the boonies. The Subway's is good, the mini-mart is well stocked, and gas prices no more exorbitant than other majors along the Interstate. And they're ALWAYS open when you stop in for a pit stop, with a light in the night, quality fuel and fresh coffee. read more

This was the only Chevron for awhile, and I really wanted a cup of coffee. I wish I had just waited until I came across the next one! Granted it's a small station that likely doesn't get much business, but even at 2pm I expect a fresh cup of coffee. Terrible. The fuel is quality - but everything is else was dismal: Dirty bathrooms, minimal selection, unfriendly staff.

Just left this location . An elderly woman came in and asked the cashier for help , her atm card was stuck in the reader at the gas pump. The cashier said there is nothing I can do . The elderly woman then asked if someone could help her, the cashier said Stop yelling at me ( she wasn't ). I offered to help, but the station wouldn't help us with tool at all. They pointed us to the tools on the wall they sell. My husband then walked in with the man to purchase the tool . At this point we didn't feel comfortable leaving this couple with the mean cashier at the station. Ultimately, the review is more so for the ridiculous lack of customer service than anything ! read more

Great stop for bathroom breaks - restrooms (at least the women's; I'd assume the men's too) have multiple stalls! We stopped here around late afternoon I think? probably around 3-4pm - no lines for either restroom. NEVER STOP HERE!!! Not only is gas $4.00/gallon but the hours say 24/7 and when I went to grab some water (with my 5 year old daughter) the woman at the the counter told me "we're closed" no more explaination absolutely no remorse. (FYI next time turn OFF your huge glowing open sign) when I asked where I could find some water nearby she didn't even make eye contact when telling me the next gas station is 5 miles up the road. If you're not on the 5 or live in the area, you'll never see this station. They do have a Subway, parking and pumps for big rigs, but the place is small and dated. When I go to the produce stand 300 feet up the road, I sometimes stop here for gas if I'm in need. Otherwise, it's a gas station with average prices. read more

They really need to put negative stars on here this place I used to go there all the time to get fuel. But now I won't last time I was there I spent $530 and the guy tells me I can get a hot dog which I got the time before for free now it's a dollar fifty well if you're going to advertise something for free if you get a certain amount of fuel you should honor that. So now instead of spending my $1,500 a week on fuel there I will take my business somewhere else that's the best revenge hit them where they live in their pocket. read more

I'm not the smoker and didn't notice she gave me the wrong brand- I went back to get the right ones and the manager refused- same day with receipt. She told me it was illegal to take them back in CA. I live here -no law just a very rude and unprofessional woman. My husband asked to see the law and she called the cops on him. The cop said she was just being a ***** and he knew of no law so she threw out company policy! Flys all over- rude manager- dirty bathrooms -go to another station- three to pick from!
