All in all this location is fine, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but wouldn't have an issue stopping here again if I needed to.

She was banned last year when she was getting gas, her friend walked out of the store without paying for an ice. My daughter would not have it and walked in to pay for it herself and that same manager would not hear anything she was saying, nor accept payment. So, because of that, NO ONE INCLUDING MANAGEMENT CALLED FORBAN AMBULANCE. My daughter had to put her in the car,crush home up on Nocalula Mt and me call for an ambulance. I didn't think the EMTs were going to get her breathing and back conscious. I'm sitting here now in the ER at Gadsden Regional because we have great Fire Gighters, First Respinders and an excellent AMBULANCE service. What we don't have is competent management with blatant disregard for human life RUNNING Cicle K on Meighan Blvd. I called to get the corporate number, she didn't know it and told me to Google it. This management team can't call an ambulance for a 14 year old unconscious in their parking lot but they can go out and smoke and kick it with every Crack head loitering the parking lot, daily!

Also, and apparently popular since there was only a single six pack remaining, they carry local (Birmingham) crafted beer from Ghost Train. Normal variety of snacks and drinks can be found (chips, candy, pastries, coke and pepsi products as well as beer). They also have a few heated items (think dogs). Overall, very comparable with any other gas station as far as convenience store products/pricing. I wouldn't have a problem using these guys again.

The convenience store had a great selection of soda, energy drinks, waters, teas, sports drinks, ---- and beer! They also had all the normal snacking options - chips, crackers, sweets, jerky, candy (chocolate and fruity stuff). You name it, they had it. All in all not a bad spot, I'd recommend them.

All summer long they have fountain drinks (32 oz) for like 79 or 89 cents - considerable less than the regular price. Also, they have but XXXX number of items get 1 free (usually 6 or 7), but again you're saving a couple bucks. The station and store themselves are clean and the bathrooms are always kept up. Staff is friendly and take good care of the customers. Definitely will be returning to this location.

Top notch work...worth every penny. Fast forward 2 years and a couple of area awards later, they still do a great job. No complaints about THE WORK! End result is still amazing. So why the rating? Bad/questionable sales practices! After being away for awhile, I decided to start using them again. I brought my vehicle in and they gave me a quote as before and I made an appointment. Then they apologized and quoted me a higher price. I should have walked away but I relented and agreed to the higher price. Honest mistake right? When I dropped off my vehicle, they continually tried to up-sale me on additional services to the point where I had to leave to keep from being hounded. If that wasn't bad enough... when I came back to pick up my vehicle, they wanted to add a surcharge for "extra" work they had to do. The sales person tried to say when I got the original quote that a surcharge may be added. That was not true for I would have insisted on them looking over the vehicle up front. I didn't even get a phone call to say, "Hey, we need to charge more because we didn't get a completely spotless vehicle to detail." No, they waited until I was trying to pay to spring the new charge on me. When I complained they removed the charge and then told be not to bring my vehicle there anymore. WHAT?!?!? I question a charge and I'm no longer welcomed? Is this anyway to treat your customers? I guess they have enough business to where they can. Again, I have no problem with the work, I have issues with the sales practices and now have very little respect for them. I can go down the road and use the automated drive through car wash 5 times for the same price as their middle tier cleaning (15 times for their top tier). Trying to help a local business and this is the thanks I get. MAKE them view your vehicle up front so you won't get surprised in the end!!!! As far as rewards and stores go, I prefer Mapco, but this is a solid second place. Not an exceptional # of pumps, but enough to never be all full with customers. The store isn't as big as other Shell locations, but has all the staples that you would want for a quick in and out driving snack or drink. Station and market are well kept and clean as far as gas stations go. I don't have any issues with this location and would recommend it to others.
