I live closest to the Jewel Lake Holiday where stragglers and solicitors are a definite problem. This location is not like that thankfully. Inside, it's spacious, bright and clean. All workers encountered have been competent and fast. The store is well organized and lines move fast. Okay, so...I'm gonna let you guys in on a little secret. Holiday Stationstores sells the best egg rolls in Anchorage. I know....it feels crazy even typing that out. But it is, what it is. They're like $2 for 2. Every now and then I have run into one that isn't super friendly at the beginning but the moment I engaged and take a moment to ask how they are doing, it turned the whole interaction around! I stop in here a few times a month on my way to work or afterwards and never have any problems or gripes. When a line gets to have more than a couple people, someone else always quickly opens up another line to assist those waiting.
