So make your plans accordingly b/c they won't let you use there facilities . There are a couple you shouldn't set foot in b/c they were down right filthy bathrooms & cashiers looked like unkept & not welcoming in Colorado. Don't go to Idaho Springs or Silverthorne, Colorado avoid these ones at all costs b/c you might end up w/ a homeless coughing in your coffee or all over you !!! We were very impressed w/ the manager in Vernal UT, he was very professional & took pride in his very clean store & bathrooms . The young lady at this Maverik Utah was very polite & welcoming . Later, as an older but still punk kid I remember stopping in here to buy gas quite often. That was before the craziness of Union Heights, and back when it was an older, run down Chevron. Nowadays, it's pretty slick. Still tiny--the convenience store has the basics and not much else--but it's a pretty gas station, if there is such a thing. Truthfully, I tend to avoid this place, even though it's super convenient when you're out shopping or seeing a movie. It's a price thing. And while I still remember when gas got over $1.00 for the first time, I don't think it's my association with the gas station of my youth. I really do think it's a little more expensive here. I mean, if we're nitpicking. Get your gas, see a movie, get a car wash. Sounds like a Saturday to me.

These stations are $20 higher than reputable emission facilities around the valley. Both business charge $60 for older vehicle emission testing for cars made before 1996 and $45 for newer cars when other centers, like CURT'S EMISSION AND CAR WASH, charge only $40 for older vehicles and $35 for newer. So don't get ripped off. Shop around. There is a lot better choices out there.
