I'm extremely disappointed with this gas station -- it feels like a scam. On April 28th around 9:30 PM, I stopped to get gas and pumped $30, but my card was charged $50. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the discrepancy until I got home. I called the station and spoke with a polite young woman who checked the pump for me. While she was helpful (and clearly not at fault), the pump did not display the last four digits of my card or the transaction amount. I only have one card, so I know the charge is incorrect. If you choose to stop here, make sure to watch the amount carefully, get a receipt, and double-check everything before leaving. I won't be returning -- and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Leaving one star because this is the first time I've been to this location and had problems at 3 different pumps with my payment. Couple hours later, my bank had temporarily suspended my online access due to multiple sign in attempts! This was the only placed I have used my card at out of the ordinary. She demanded my ID, and when I gave it to her she rudely asked for my birthday. After I gave her my date of birth she proceeded to deny my age saying my ID was wrong. My date of birth is 10/25/2000. I came to extra mile to get a lemonade and lighter, I had my ID with me. I had my friend with me that is 18 who didn't have ID with her, the older Indian lady at the register refused to sell us the lighter even though I (who was paying) showed her my ID. She asked for my friends ID and when she said she didn't have it on her she said she wouldn't sell it to us and threw it on the floor lmao. Ive been going here since I was 18, buying tobacco and since I turned 21 to buy beer. The same rude employee has always worked here. An older woman named Ruby. I work in customer service, when I enter an establishment I make a point to be kind, smiley, and easy going. Thats why I never let the fact that she is always rude, and unhappy looking to see customers including me everytime I visit bother me. She obviously hates her job, and I have been there so I never let it bother me too much. If anything I let it make me chuckle that shes so unfriendly all the time, because it must be exhausting. Today I went in with my 32 year old boyfriend. His ID was expired since yesterday and he didnt know, so it has been expired for one day when she denied our tobacco purchase. I didnt bring mine, and went home to grab it. I didnt sweat it, shes unkind and always has been, thats what I get for shopping at the extramile on foothill. I went back about 30 minutes later on my own, and she refused to sell me the tobacco, but said shed make an exception for the liqour even though I had my valid ID. She said it was because my 32 year old boyfriend had come with me earlier. My question is, how long does she intend to bar me from liqour or tobacco sales because my boyfriends ID expired less than 24 hours ago? Its all nonsensical, and shes the rudest customer service representative I have ever met. I have been in customer service and liqour sales for 11 years, and the only explanation is the fact that she hates her job and hates customers. Ruby either needs to be trained again, or to get a new position where she isnt bothered by customers. Note: My boyfriend has bought liqour and tobacco from Ruby for at least a year and a half which is when he moved in with me abd he sees her every week, so she knows us both. The reviews for this location speak for themselves, disappointing. I have tried to cash a scratcher ticket twice here and get the same response "I don't have any cash". A guy who wanted gas only had a $100 bill and he wouldn't take that. Even this is 7pm and they've been open all day. So why wouldn't they have $90 to pay a customer for a scratcher that they bought at that location???? I did get upset about it and as I was leaving the clerk was responding poorly. This clerk had no customer service skills nor did he care to be of any assistance. I only come here because it's close to my house so I'll have to rethink that the next time I want to play the lottery. The So Cal Lottery office will receive my formal complaint. Why are the pumps so screwed up here? First pump wouldn't take my card. Kept asking to input an amount limit. Went to another pump. The next one was only putting out about 1.5 gallons per minute. Finally gave up and put the nozzle back. Tried to get a receipt but it wouldn't print one. Went to another one and it did better - 3 gallons per minute, but didn't shut off. Felt something wet splashing on my ankle, looked down and had was running out the filler and all down the side of my car. At these prices, you'd think they could invest in a little maintenance. I never thought I would Be writing a review on a gas station. But today I had the worst experience ever. A few days ago I went into this gas station to buy my daughter some snacks for a long drive and a car charger because my battery was slowly dying. As soon as I got in the car I noticed that I had some issues with the charger. It took a little strength to push the charger down but I got it to work. The next day I notice that the light on the car charger was no longer staying on it was just blinking. This was the charger that I had bought for 9.99. The other option was another charger for 4.99. So today I went in to Exchange The charger and the manager accused me of lying and saying that I didn't purchase the Charger there. In front of other customers he said that he checked his inventory and that was not purchased there. This made me furious because 1st of all how would I know The pricing between the Other Chargers they offer. 2nd why don't you go back and check your cameras before you accuse me of lying. He insinuated that the item was stolen and I was trying to exchange it there. I have never felt so humiliated in my life. I would NEVER STEAL or try to exchange something fraudulently. I would never teach that behavior to my kids. This man insulted me in front of other customers. I WILL NEVER come into this gas station ever again. But I've never had a person be so rude to someone for buying a coffee. I've read many other reviews about this Chevron and am surprised that so many are negative. Obviously, I go there frequently and I've never had a bad experience. I've even had conversations with the Manager (whom others have complained about) and he's always been very cordial. I've also never had a problem with the gas pumps either, though some have complained that they're "always out-of-order". Although I didn't experience it, there may be some credence to that since they just upgraded all of the gas pumps and now also sell diesel fuel. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my wife is also a fan of their über-caffeinated offerings. My car has never tasted any other gas than Chevron. This is a very convenient location for me and it hasn't given me any reason to stop going, so I would recommend patronizing it if you're in the area. read more

Honestly, my wife & I enjoy coming to this gas station. We normally come by for our late night snacks because its convenient due to living down the street. Gerry usually serves us when we stop by & normally have no issues. This time we come across a cashier named Ruby. I generally visit this place at least 3 - 4 times a week. I'm writing this for the owners notifying you that the customers spending our hard earned money there & would like to be treated with some respect on how you deal with your customers especially the ones that live in the area. I only ever go into Extra Mile for there f'real milkshakes that are seriously the best. The only reason Im even considering giving them a star. This place is always the worst experience, the staff is so rude all the time. If you are in a hurry in the morning, do not come to this Chevron. Hard to believe after 3 times going to this chevron and them being closed, I still tried because it was the closest to me. If it is a management problem and you need a manager I would be happy to take over. Not a problem. Retail management is easy. Take care of your employees and then they will take care of your customers. Don't you think customer satisfaction is the most important thing in business? But if you are not open how are you going to take care of your customers. How are you going to make the money this store is capable of if you keep being closed and pissing off customers. 4 times that I know of. And how many of those customers don't have the time to take a chance of you being closed. How many have told someone else not to go there. I know you are a big corporation and us little guys don't matter. People will drive by and see you are doing business and get gas because of convenience. So the loss of 20 Customers won't matter. But there are ways to take care of things like a broken front door. Without fixing it during peek morning hours. The second time you were closed the door was being fixed. And nobody could go in. This time a vendor and what looked like an employee was standing out side the front door waving customers off. Yes people will come back. I literally come to this chevron on a daily basis. The people who work here are all really nice, we are on a first name basis, and they do a good job of keeping the store clean and well stocked. I remember one night really late I came here to get a dr pepper out of the fountain and it was out (seriously one of the worst things ever if your a dr pepper fiend like I am!) and the guy said he would fix it right then and there! That's customer service! If you become a regular there like I am, you will reap the benefits like extra stamps on your stamp cards, refill prices for brand new soda/coffee etc. These people don't take you as just another customer. best service at a gas station ever! read more

I'm local and go their regularly though there are a couple of employees there that I believe to be less than honest. I've been short changed by the same guy a couple of times and today bought lottery tickets that looked perfect (like new) as the clerk pulled them from near the machine, but I got home and looked at them and they were date January 7, 2017. I can't help but wonder why January 7th tickets would be sitting on top of the lotto machine? Additionally I asked for one ticket and was sold six, which I just blew off and paid for them assuming the clerk must have mistakenly entered six instead of one. I went back and they apologized and made it right, but that should never happen. Gotta watch them. read more

Price is high compared to stations closer to freeway. Pumps are virtually always out of paper and need to go "get receipt inside". Very annoying if you need receipt for tax purposes. read more
