He took it a step further and while test driving it he saw she had a problem with her turn signals so he fixed that at no charge. The price he charged us was extremely fair. Mike from AAA was so kind and took us here to get the tire repaired since this family owned shop is open the latest in the area. Juan was able to get our tire fixed and did such a great job on patch plugging it. If you need to replace your tires/rims he also has many to choose from but it's always good to just call ahead to make sure they have exactly what you want. Also, I wasn't planning on getting my windows tinted but Juan offered such a great deal; way better than the Bay Area quotes. The window tint he offers is a ceramic Solar Guard lifetime warranty with different tint shades to choose from. I got ceramic tint 5% rear and 35% front, my car looks 10x better! Lastly, Liz his wife has her homemade candles sold at the shop and they smell soo good, it's a must to get one either for your home, car or both! On a trip from San Francisco to San Diego the day before Thanksgiving, my wife and I noticed a loud and repeating noise as we drove down the highway. At 5:50 pm the night before Thanksgiving and with very little around us, we scrambled to find anyone who was willing to look at our car. We call Ralph's and Ralphie (Ralph's son) answered. He said they were just leaving for the day but said he would wait for us and look at the car if we could make it to him. We struggled to get the car to him (found out that we had snapped 2 lugs on the back right wheel and the remaining lugs had become so loose it could have fallen off on the highway) but finally made it to the garage. Their entire team waited for us and quickly and efficiently sourced the issue. They offered to come in on Thanksgiving to make the needed repairs, and Jose even gave us a ride back to the highway to Harris Ranch where we stayed for the night. The next day they came in at 7:00 am (again on Thanksgiving day!) and had the car fixed and ready by noon. What's more, they went above and beyond just replacing the two broken lug nuts and replaced all of the lugs one the entire car because the existing lugs were aftermarket and far thinner than original parts. The final total for the work was much less than I expected (under $200), especially given the holiday work, pick-up and drop off from our hotel, and the parts and labor. Unbelievably, we arrived in SD in time to have our Thanksgiving dinner with our family, and it is all thanks to Ralphie, Jose, and the rest of the team at Ralph's. These guys are as good as it gets. If I ever get broken down again in Huron, CA I know who I will be calling. Ralph's triangle and the honest, hard working people who made a potentially traumatic experience stress free. THANK YOU!!! Coolant and oil slurry everywhere, melted plastic and hoses, a real mess. Ralph had it towed in, and while I hitched a ride out of town up north, he found all the specific hoses, gaskets, reservoirs, and parts, and had the ability to send the head to a machine shop to check for warping and resurfacing. I had the car shipped up today (he was able to watch over my car for quite some time until I was able to arrange transport) and it drives like a new 45 year old car. I called, the dispatcher, said she'd need to get a quote from her supervisor, then call me back. She called 10 minutes later with a quote for $195, sent me the invoice, and said she'd dispatch a driver. I paid the invoice, and did not hear back for almost 30 minutes. I called her back, she said the driver was on his way to pick up the lockout kit from their yard - across the street from the Pilot. Ten minutes later I get a call from their driver, he asked the year/make/model of my car, and said he'd be there in 10-15 minutes. Another 30 minutes goes by and I receive a call from their dispatch and she tells me her driver said he wouldn't be able to unlock my car because of the key fob being in the car - I told her this was the 2nd time I have done this, and it wasn't an issue last time. She once again said they couldn't do it, and her supervisor would need to be the one to issue me a refund because she couldn't - but was unaware of how long it would take to post back to my account. I called another tow truck company. The driver was there within 5 minutes, used the same lockout kit that was used before - with absolutely no damage to my car - and I was on my way within 20 minutes of my phone call to them. Also, for a third of the price! If you need ANY type of tow service in the Madera area, use Ron's!!! DO NOT USE THIS PRICE GOUGING COMPANY!!!
