03/19/2026 around 2 50 pm Went to this Gas station to get my gas with my app getting a 25 cents discount. it is very clean and nice from inside. But first I needed to go to the restroom I asked if I needed a key to use the restroom the cashier looked at me from top to bottom and asked if I was gonna buy something ? wow !!!never never in any of the gas stations I go they ask this question my car is outside at the pump and he is making me feel bad. I said yes I'm going to buy something I spent almost 100.00 in gas tried to get a drink and machine was down. Very bad service. !!! Wow, I have never seen any business get so many 1 star reviews. They only have 12 reviews, but all are negative. Fortunately, I did not have the same experience as everyone else who wrote a review. It was simply an average visit. They do not go the extra mile in terms of having good service or a nice looking store. They were not bad either, though. Would I return? Probably not. I don't know why all these people are giving one star reviews.. The car wash is a HAND car wash, of course someone is going to wash your car by hand. That's the whole point. Go to prime shine if you want to get swirl Marks made by a machine.. Iv never had anyone there Tip themselves with my credit card or debit card. They're good workers, sometimes they take a while, but the car comes out super clean. Worth the wait in my opinion. As for the inside of the chevron, it's a basic chevron.. and the bathrooms are not locked so I don't see where people are asking the owner if they can use the restroom.. They also have a pretty good Mexican restaurant inside the chevron, definitely worth checking out. All in all it's a regular chevron nothing to complain about at all. read more

I come here multiple times since it's nearby but the prices here are crazy. For 2 2L sodas, the cost was $5 but then the manager comes and speaks the employee (new I assume) in private. While the manager is touching the screen and adjusts the price, I see on the pay-pad that the price of the soda has increased so I just left. If that doesn't tell you it's suspicious, idk what does. If you need to quickly buy something, go to cruisers or 7/11 cause they'll increase the price on whatever item ur buying. I remember when this was a very good car wash. Looks like owners are going the cheap route and under-staffing to make every dollar possible. My car has sat in the vacuum section for 30 minutes now. Such a simple fix!! Operationally, you guys are terrible. I think the owner was inside manning the cashier station, I could be wrong. Stick your head out and see that you have ONE poor guy running all the cars through and taking payments. What the heck are you guys doing?!? You're running a car wash, not a chemistry lab. It's not difficult. It's now been 40 minutes. I know because I've listened to 11 songs and my car has yet to begin its wash. I sincerely hope you people read the few negative reviews and actually change your selfish business model in to what it used to be. Pretty sure they're not getting breaks either. Under paid, no breaks, trash work environment run by people who do not know how to manage people. No wonder why our world is pissed!! AVOID AVOID AVOID the carwash! They have what looks like a 14 yr old kid driving your car to the carwash while you wait. Also, they don't rinse the soap well enough by the time the car goes through the car wash. When the car reaches the blower at the end, the car is still soapy. They have guys soaping tge hood manually while the car is on the conveyor. ARE THEY NUTS????? Recommendation: Go to Prime Shine carwash. For an extra $1.00, you get a quality carwash and your car is in good hands, YOUR hands. read more

As of August 12th, 2017 at 10 AM, my money will no longer be spent at Extra Mile/Chevron on Mitchell Road in Ceres, CA. despite the convenient location. I will now go the "extra mile" to fuel up at Cruisers, which is always too crowded and hard to get in and out of. To emphasize the poor level of service provided to me on multiple occasions at Extra Mile, I highlight the fact I have only given one Yelp review since establishing an account in 2015. The reason for my boycott of this establishment is due to one person and only one person. This woman was not only rude to me the three times I have interacted with her, but I have witnessed her mistreating other customers poorly on one occasion. I believe this woman is of Indian decent, and she may have a slight accent. Neither of which determine my opinion of someone. I only mention this for explanatory purposes, for remembering someone by name whilst purchasing a Gatorade is not my specialty. The identification of this person is important for management to properly counsel and correct this rogue employee. I also want to make clear the other cashiers are totally cool at this location. This woman is slight in stature, bespectacled, wears a navy blue "Extra Mile" logo emblazoned shirt and wears an uninviting scowl. Now that she is identified, I hope she can identify some weak areas in her character and work on her happy. I would think a job in customer service requires a certain level of people skills. Examples of her poor service? Here you go: my first time dealing with her (the first time is always the hardest), after bringing a fountain drink Gatorade and setting it down on the counter expecting swift service, I stood there for roughly 30 seconds or so without being acknowledged whatsoever. She was reading over some receipts, and ignored me for such an awkwardly long period of time, I could not help but smile in disbelief. After my saying of "hi there", she looked at me, read the receipt for another few seconds and acted disappointed because I was purchasing gas in addition to my refreshing Gatorade. As a Christian and as an American, I fundamentally believe in second chances, so I decided to give her another chance on a later date. Thankfully she was not distracted by any time consuming paperwork, but the situation was only dissimilar in the amount of time I was ignored upon placing my Gatorade on the counter. After looking out the window suspiciously several times at the group of people waiting for their car to be washed, she started to restack the Swisher-Sweet grape-flavored blunt wraps, moved some generic cigarettes from one spot to another then picked up a roll of Skoal Mint. I admit the pain of someone prioritizing grape-flavored blunt wraps over my needs went deep. It stings almost as bad as being rejected for a prom date (Yelp review update on her: she's big these days!), so I had to reassess my inner feelings of rejection. I'm better now! Since I was healed (thank you Jesus) from my previous two bad experiences, I decided to take a big chance and pay another visit. I was next door at Hope Chest donating gently worn winter clothing (I adopted my dog, and I volunteer feeding the homeless), and my thirst became so great that only 56 ounces of ice-cold Gatorade could do the trick. The geography of the situation made a visit to Extra Mile the clear logical choice despite Swisher-Sweet grape-flavored blunt wraps taking priority over customers. I was admittedly aghast when walking into the store and noticed her at the register. She looked as bitter as ever, and after my recent interactions with her, I was less than optimistic. If I were a nihilist, I could say she did not disappoint. Once again my placement of the enormous Gatorade on the counter was her cue to look out the windows at the suspicious group of Baby Boomers gathered together waiting for their late-model vehicles to get washed. I was also not able to distract her from shouting "must pay before use bathroom" to a pair of road-weary travelers with every intention of purchasing gas and snacks. These two travelers were forced to wait in line to purchase their items before going to the bathroom even though they were clearly not there to trick Extra Mile into a free bathroom trip. Then me. Once again, there I was, her last and lowest priority. It is times like these that test the heart the greatest. I left with my Gatorade in hand, and my heart in my throat. On 9/22/17, I went into this gas station to get some gas, rockstar and something to snack on. Out of no where their employee accused me of stealing. I have never stole anything in my life. I informed chevron corporate and they informed the owner. I has already been a day haven't received a apology. Also went in to talk to the manager wasn't there and ask the employee for an apology and he would not give me one. These owners allow their employees accuse people of stealing and get away with it. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not go here . The lady would not give me be displayed sale price for two bang energy drinks, even after I showed her the display. She just peeled it off and tried to charge me the regular price telling me the sale was over. I told her it was the law and she acted oblivious. I had the money but it's the principle. They permanently lost my business. I just received the horrible experience from this place. I would not give any stars if it was on the star chart. I'm handicapped, was going to get gas and use the restroom. Was told I had to by something first so I got a fountain soda. The woman at the counter was extremely rude, the bathroom was filthy. I came out of the restroom to get the soda and I was filling up my soda cup refill the same woman rushed over to me and said loudly and rudely, that's not a 40 oz. cup! I replied, no it isn't it's a 44 oz cup which I had told her before I paid for it. I offered to pay for the extra amount to which she said no. Pal.. she is thee rudest person I've ever witnessed in customer service in my entire 44 years of life!! She didnt know how to process my extra miles card, my credit card or my bank card, telling me all three were declined. First, how does my extra miles card even get "declined"??!! Second, my other cards being declined is impossible but she didnt even try to fix the problem. So I said never mind, I'll go somewhere else to buy my 2 rockstars. As I walked out I said "how stupid" and she said "YOU'RE STUPID!" There were customers who witnessed it. I turned around and said "excuse me, You don't call your customers stupid!" Only gave them one star because they would not let me give them zero...Worst customer service. I stopped by to get a cherry icee and the machine clearly stated it was cherry flavor. It came out orange. I asked the guy at the regular if it was in fact cherry he said i dont know i think its supposed to be but it doesnt look like it. I wasn't getting anywhere with this guy as far as having him double check so I decided to take it anyways. I'm about to pay and he tells me my total is $2.15. The sign says $1.49. I asked him isnt 2.15 the price for one that is $1.99+ tax he said I don't know that might be an old sign I didn't change it this morning, some lady dis so it's 2.15. I said um clearly that's not my fault are you guys have the wrong price you have to honor the price that you guys have posted and he said I don't know just take it take it rather than fixing the problem he gave it to me for free so he wont have to deal with me.
