Absolutely annoying that there is no one that seems to speak fluent ENGLISH and or someone who can…read moreunderstand English. This guy this morning has completely ripped me off for $2.17 and has also taxed me on all three items I was paying for with my EBT debit card unbelievable and definitely not professional . I recommend anyone else who goes to this particular store I recommend you ask for your receipt and examine it and make sure he's not ripping you off or your food stamps because there should never be any taxes on EBT nor should any additional charge of cash be added upon the already paid by EBT charges I'm pissed and frustrated that he wasn't even able to comprehend my English let alone communicate in any way shape or form totally UNPROFESSIONAL...

My experience at this store was frustrating. I stopped in to grab some snacks and since I only had…read morea few items, I went to the self check out. The first issue was that the woman next to me had pushed her cart very close to me and the check out sensed the items in the cart as mine. It kept saying that it looked like I hadn't scanned all my items, Ultimately, a worker had to come help me and explained that was what was happening. I would have needed the employee regardless though because I grabbed some Pepperidge Farm Milanos because I saw they were on a deal for members. After scanning them, I did not receive the discount even though I was signed in to the register with my account. The staff memeber had to do an override and explained that although it knows I am a member, I still have to manually log in in the app and clip the virtual coupon. Why do I need to sign into an app and jump through hoops to document something as a member when anyone off the street can just walk in and scan the coupon from the ads in the front and their information and purchases are unknown? I am so tired of business tracking everyone and what they buy and when and using them as a data point. I already have a membership and I'm buying the item. If the store wants people to be loyal, they should make things easier for them, not harder. Anyway, the cookies were stale. I would not return to this location and I am reconsidering the chain as a whole at this point.

Then an older gentleman said we can make Tuna on white bread if you like. We didn't even notice the sandwich counter. What a great concept. The lady who made our sandwich took real pride in making what we wanted. We will definitely stop by Safeway on our road trip for a quick picnic lunch.

You want something that is in the rural parts of mount Vernon at an unsuspecting convenience store?…read more I had my doubts but these tacos and the people that work there are amazingly friendly. My friend told me about this place before taking me and I had my doubts, but these food and people there are what you need to run a great establishment. Pricing was great as we went there in a Wednesday and luckily the tacos were the special of the day. 3 asada taco plate had the makings of a restaurant style and had tons of flavor. I will more than likely stop here again when I am in the area!

First off, I don't think Jorge is even working in the Mexican Restaurant now, and after dealing…read morewith a creep running the cash register I wouldn't go back even if Jorge was there. There is a sign on the door saying "No Mask, No Service", which is after all state law, but I guess the cashier thinks he is above the law, and he obviously has zero respect for the customers, or their children, because by the time I paid for my gas and snacks I had heard him say the F word, among other profanities, at least 5 times, and laugh that he wasn't going to wear a mask. The owners are nice people, I like the breakfast burritos, the gas is cheap, and the store is in a good location, but they owners need to do a do a better job of hiring employees, I will either stop in at night to get my gas, or go somewhere else where I don't feel I have to put earplugs in my kids ears. I'd rather pay 5 cents more a gallon for my gas and not feel like I'm in a biker bar.

Inside, many products were missing price labels or were labeled so poorly it was hard to tell what anything cost. I shouldn't have to hunt for a price or guess at the register. La Conner deserves a grocery store that takes basic cleanliness and clear pricing seriously. I hope management addresses these issues, because right now it's hard to recommend.
