The week I got it home it required a new gas vacuum hose replaced for $390, every time I filled it with gas the engine struggled to start again which they had to have noticed. After an oil change it was recommended getting a quote for needed repairs which totaled $3,100. All issues that affect me and my families safety. Plus, the hood struts are shot, steering fluid was 1/4 quart low, oil was 1/2 quart low, the hatch only opens part of the time, there's no tire jack with the spare, windshield wiper fluid leaks consistently. Very discouraged with the NUMEROUS issues and their complete dishonesty.

I've experienced high pressure salesmen all over town; salesmen not listening to what I want, but rather, trying to convince me to buy something they want to sell. Many dealerships are not forthcoming about prices and play a sort of "game" where they try to wear you down so you spend as much money as possible. I just bought a car through The Dealership Alternative and had the best used car buying experience EVER! I worked with Jennipher and she was great to work with. She listened to me, worked within my budget, and found a better vehicle than I ever thought I could afford.

Standard used car lemon laws do not usually apply, but you have strong legal protections. Because the dealer explicitly lied or misrepresented that problems were fixed before purchase, you are legally protected under fraud and deceptive trade practices laws, rather than standard lemon laws. I got no 40 sticker no receipt and promises that were not kept. I am 66 years old and feel I have been exploited and abused!!! I called back the next day and said I would take it for $20,000.00. The guy told me there was no way they could take that little for it and they were sending it to auction the next day if I didn't buy it. I said I didn't want it unless I could get it for that price. 3 weeks went buy and it was still on their lot. called back to see if they would take my offer since it hadn't gone to auction like they had said. The guy that answered this time said that it wasn't a repo and gave me a whole new story on it. Made me think that the whole thing was just a sales tactic that I didn't fall for. Honesty really is the best sales tool if you have a good product. I would be very careful in dealing with them and not believe the story on any vehicle.
