We were promptly seated and waited on by a friendly waitress. After my wife mentioned she has alpha gal allergy, the waitress told us they have a totally separate grill specifically for such issues so there isn't any worries about the food coming into contact with mammalian-derived meats or dairy products. They have a number of alpha gal-friendly options. My wife ordered the fried chicken strips with cottage potatoes and fried okra. I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes (both with cream gravy) and onion rings. First note: the portions were HUGE! The chicken strips could equal at least 1/3 of a whole chicken. And the chicken fried steak covered a whole plate of it's own. But, portion size means nothing if the food isn't good. Well, I'm happy to say they were both EXCELLENT (note that the CFS is made with Ribeye!). All I can say is if you haven't tried Fite's or it's been awhile, you just gotta go!
