I needed a "good pair" of shoes for running and I had heard that paying a visit to a place like…read moreFleet Feet was highly recommended. Considering I know absolutely zero about running shoes, I followed that advice and had a top-notch experience. I was greeted by Kathleen, who is a total gem, and was directed to a bench to place my belongings. I then did a 3D foot scan, followed by a quick walk up and down the store so she could watch my gait. Kathleen brought the tablet over and we looked at the scans. She said a lot of foot terms and I nodded along, fully trusting the process. Shoes were suggested and then taken for a spin around the store. They were all excellent choices, but I had to choose one and went with a pair of Asics. I was so glad I had a shoe guide for the journey. Kathleen was knowledgeable and kind. The store has running accessories, apparel, and even nutrition offerings. I'm not saying I'm a runner, but I would definitely make a return visit for another pair of shoes down the road.

Some very unique clothing with funny sayings on them. All the clothes seem like they are preshrunk or a polyester vs cotton and love that as sometime shirts can be hard to buy for that reason. I purchased a few shirts and stickers from here a month ago for St Patrick's Day and was able to exchange and return the shirts that didn't fit. No questions asked and made it super easy. *Make sure you check their website as the hours vary by week and they kind of follow seasonal hours that Lake Monster uses.* You will have to walk a little ways from the private parking lot and during the winter it may be hard to find a spot right away.

It took a box cutter to cut the tape and a screwdriver to pry up the end of the box, but despite their efforts I got the shirt out of there! I look forward to wearing it, particularly when we go to Ashland in August. With the shirt they included a catalog and they have a plethora of clever designs. In addition to t-shirts they sell bumper stickers and buttons, magnets and posters, many w/ left-leaning liberal slogans and ideas. Those that aren't left-leaning are of more general interest. Still clever. They have categories ranging from the environment to politics to pets and other non-humans to native, aging and miscellaneous to spirituality and religion. With this in mind, they do have a generous sales room where shoes can be ~$20-40 off (I haven't been there often enough to know how the sales change, so I might be off).
