She asked the teacher about this but he said it's not possible to have more conversation lessons ?? Before subscribing we specifically insisted on a program with ONLY converstation because she has enough theory/grammar/vocabulary in her classes here in her own country. What she really needs and lacks is conversation, even simple things. She wants to become more fluid in her dialogue. VACATION ENGLISH PROGRAM is sold as : a program that places an exceptional emphasis on speaking promising students will practice speaking skills frequently in class. (see website) So it seemed perfect for us but it was not ! I contacted the Operations Manager/Center Director at Chestnut hill but nothing was done to make improvements or changes. If you are looking for conversation skills, don't go to FLS !

Jessica created a delightful floral mosaic design. She kept me informed of cost and schedule. The result is drop-dead gorgeous! Friends and neighbors are so complimentary. Even the mailman is a big fan! There are so many lovely mosaics and murals in the city of Philly, so it felt especially fun to bring some of that whimsey into the suburbs. She allowed my grandson and other family members to place a tile on the wall, making it even more special. My grandson loves to point out "his leaf" to everyone. Jessica is a talented and committed artist with years of experience. She is friendly, down-to-earth, and easy to work with. Her creations are unique. She uses a mixture of handmade clay tiles with special designs and glazes along with commercially-made tile. The result is breath-taking. She is a delight to work with. I can highly recommend her.

We have been to three Music Class locations in Philadelphia and have had great experiences with all of the teachers and facilities. She is now playing cello and at age four, with less than a year of lessons, is already half way through Suzuki book one and is already playing with good intonation. The beneficial impact of her musical experiences as a baby and toddler has far exceeded my expectations. The Music Class combines a thoughtful curriculum with engaging music-making opportunities for babies and toddlers (I only have experience with Music Pups). Class sizes are limited so that each child has enough direct engagement with the instructor. I think this is probably also helpful for shy kids or young babies who might be overwhelmed by lots of people. My second daughter is now enrolled in her second session of music class. She is already engaging with music in a very positive way. She really comes alive as the class progresses and doesn't even seem to notice when it is way past her typical morning nap time. I have really enjoyed The Music Class and would highly recommend it to enrich the musical perspective of young children.
