The problems at this school began when the previous head of school, Mr. James, left. Since Mr. James left we have experienced the following: 1. The School LOST our child - On one occasion, our child left her classroom and the school did not know where she was. To make it worse, they never informed us about the incident and had to learn about it from another parent whose child left the classroom with my child. I was told by other parents that this was not a singular event. After the incident, the school (after refusing my request to fire the teacher) agreed to never assign that teacher to supervise my child ever again. This agreement lasted for several months until the school started assigning that teacher to watch my child again. Additionally, when I confronted the head of school about the event, he informed me that he did not tell me about the event because I was pregnant and he did not want to "upset" me. 2. TIME OUTS - My child kept complaining that a particular teacher would separate her from other kids and put her in time outs. The time outs would occur on a chair that was away from other kids. 3. TELLING/MAKING MY DAUGHTER FEEL THAT SHE IS A BAD GIRL - My child told me that a particular teacher tells her that she is a "bad girl". 4. TICKS - The playground is full of ticks. After finding two giant ticks on my child, I informed the school of the problem. They did not respond to my email or treat the playground for ticks. Since then, I have learned that other children have also come home with lots of ticks. 5. DEPOSIT - When I informed the school that I was leaving, the school told me that they would be returning my entire deposit. I believe they did this due to my experience and to deter me from speaking out against them. Well...low and behold, I never received the deposit and when I confronted the school several months after I left, I was told that they never said that they would be returning my money despite me having the emails to prove it. The school's (almost) saving grace are Ms. Puja, Ms. Savi, and Ms. Varshini, who are caring teachers. Unfortunately, the administration's incompetence and carelessness is too much to overcome. If you are interested in a Montessori education, I have heard good things about the Guidepost Lawrenceville location. Just please for your mental health and your children's safety DO NOT enroll them in the Princeton Meadows school.

I need to note that my son attended this school with a highly trained aid. There are 18 kids in a classroom with 3 teachers. It is unfair and unrealistic to expect extra time be given to any one student on a daily basis. My son's participation worked at this school because his aid ensured that he was not a constant disruption to the classroom. The teachers were incredibly supportive of my son and his aid; he eventually worked seamlessly into the classroom with minimal assistance from his aid. Overall, this is a fantastic school. If your child has special needs, this school can be fantastic....but they cannot be expected to "treat" a child beyond that which a normal, non special education teacher, would do. However, they were very willing to work with my son and his aid, to the extent that it did not interfere with the other children. I found their approach very reasonable. Fun Side Note: The teachers were so happy with my son's aid that they sent her flowers at the end of the school year. She was really touched (as was I).

Before becoming a parent I saw the insides of many preschool classrooms working with early intervention. I've never seen a school with this atmosphere and kids really do learn how to be a friend. The yellow box is an amazing concept. It changes every week for imaginative play. It could be a boat , a store, a cave... so many fun things that get the kids learning and playing together. Not many schools use the materials they use for learning. They have a work bench where the children can hammer and saw. The playground has a big sandbox, lots of swings, natural climbing surfaces and more fun things to do. Its nice to be able to stay and play afterward. You get to know the classmates and family of the class. I can't recommend it enough.

I was placed in the front of the school in a room with approximately 10-12 other children with ADD. We did well in subject matters but had trouble staying focused and seated. What I do remember very well were the beatings we all suffered from the teachers. One was named Lauer, possibly Alfred. Back in the 60s, they used old-fashioned yardsticks to keep us in order. They would beat us until we cried. We had nobody to appeal to, as we were just a bunch of 7 year old munchkins. How bad could we have been? Lauer would first verbally torture the children. Then, if we reacted in an adverse manner, he would take his yardstick, which was never far from him, and beat the living crap of the child in his sights. Although we were not part of the larger school with many autistic children, we did have lunch with them in the lunchroom. I remember quite vividly those poor souls being beaten and abused by the staff. They never tried to hide or cover up the abuse. Delta School and others have been successful for the past 5-10 years at deleting my eyewitness account of what went on in this hellhole. Every time I post what happened there, they complain and my review is deleted. Next time, I will file suit and testify in Philadelphia court. This is a truthful account and they want it quashed. If you love your children, DO NOT send them to this school.

When you call and no one answers (they rarely answer) it does not even say Tomorrow's Stars. An automated recording will just say you've called and lists the phone number. I brought up my worries about not knowing how my child's day was and said I would be satisfied with a note or a photo a day and I was told they'll try. I received three photos and zero notes in the span of two months. I'm a teacher who has worked in daycares. I know it's busy and understaffed. Their communication is nonexistent unless they want to remind you to bring money in for some event. I was never told they were closed for two weeks at the end of December until the day before my child started. I understand infants are tough, but I received one art project in two months. My child was bit twice (within the span of a month...with 2 weeks off!) and when my husband went to pick up and ask for the incident form he was told "ask your wife." . I guess they thought he was going to ask what happened when they already called me, but it's just the environment for me and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Some advice is instead of calling former customers liars who could have potentially given you and your chain positive future reviews, you should try giving feedback that is professional . You now have shown future customers how you handle situations. Point proven, in reference to my last review as to why we left instead of seeking a solution. He would of never cared how I felt, pretty sure he would of called me a liar!
