My 17-year-old son is naturally extra cautious and was very anxious about getting behind the wheel. However, the trainers here are truly exceptional at what they do. They created an environment where he felt completely comfortable and, more importantly, confident. A special, heartfelt thanks goes to Bill Watkins. Bill was his instructor several times and was absolutely instrumental in his success. He managed to push my son's confidence and self-esteem through pure kindness and compassion. It takes a special kind of teacher to understand an anxious student, and Bill nailed it. The entire team is extremely professional and supportive. I truly have them to thank for my son passing his driving test! The first part of the test is parallel parking, they take you to the back of the parking lot, literally down a narrow alley way, and make you parallel park into this tiny box surrounded by brand new cars. I've been driving for 40 years and i'd have difficulty doing that. Obviously John's and Fred Beans have a nice little scam going here, 5 minutes, you fail, that'll be $99 please. I thought Fred Beans was more reputable then to do something like this. AVOID AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

A few minutes in, I glance up and see my son smiling and happily participating! We are now about a month into lessons and he is excited to go to class every week. I can also see that my son is getting stronger and more confident in the water. The app is also very easy to use as we have already rescheduled a couple of times due to weather and busy schedules. I highly recommend this location!

We had a truly disappointing and upsetting experience at the Big Blue Swim School. I brought my…read moreyoung son, who has almost no swimming experience, for lessons and expected supportive, professional guidance. Unfortunately, we were met with untrained and unprofessional staff. My son was visibly scared and started panicking and crying during the lesson, yet the instructor showed no willingness to comfort or support him, even after I politely asked her to hold and reassure him. To make matters worse, a manager with a laptop interrupted and told me I wasn't allowed to speak to my own child or the instructor, even as he was sobbing in distress. Her response was a cold and robotic "I understaaaand," without any genuine concern or action. We left immediately. At the front desk, the manager was similarly dismissive and unhelpful. When I explained my son was traumatized by the experience and I wanted to cancel future lessons, I was told I needed to submit a cancellation request 30 days in advance -- regardless of what just happened. Overall, the staff -- most of whom appear very young -- were rude, indifferent, and clearly not trained to work with children, especially those with little experience or anxiety around water. This was not only a waste of money, but it also caused emotional harm to my son. I strongly do NOT recommend!!!.

I also like that even at a lesser fee you don't have to sacrifice quality of instruction. My kids loved their driving experience with Neil than with us or the other driving school instructor.
