The good: 1. You get a decent loaner car while you are…read moregetting screwed. 2. They did NOT steal the $13.50 cash I left in my car (thanks, guys). The bad: They make you spend thousands of dollars unnecessarily and cause other problems while they needlessly replace parts AT TOP DOLLAR. Was told the "eccentric bolts" (I have to wonder if they mean "CONCENTRIC BOLTS"....a bolt with an offset washer welded on) used for the rear alignment were rusted and frozen in the rear control arms. Said that until both the bolts.....AND the control arms were replaced, it would continue to pull to the left. So, I paid over $1000 to replace both, and have them do an alignment. Still pulled to the left. Next they tell me it's from the "crown in the road". This means that the center of a road is higher than the edges, to promote water runoff. Think about that. You're driving on the right, the CENTER, or "crown in the road" is to your left, that should make the car drift to the RIGHT.......but mine went left. They said 2 people road tested the car and each put a dozen miles on it, and couldn't get it to pull either way, said that the car tracks straight. Funny thing was, it had 7.8 miles MORE on the odometer when I picked it up, not 24 miles. Took the car to Mavis Tire, and told them of my plight. They swapped the front wheels so the right was on the left and vice versa, now it doesn't pull at all. I spent over $1000 for NOTHING. The wheel swap was free at Mavis Tire. No matter how "combative" this review may appear to the shop owner, you would think that a place which both sells tires, AND specializes in Japanese cars, would have AT LEAST TRIED swapping the front tires, before making me spend a grand needlessly on "eccentric bolts" new rear control arms, and a $110.00 alignment, especially after an alignment was already done. Also, anyone of NORMAL INTELLIGENCE knows that the "crown in the road" makes a car pull to the RIGHT, not the left. I had new front axles and wheel bearings replaced at a different garage less than 2 months and 1500 mils ago, but still heard a "clank" when I put the car in gear (drive or reverse). All Japanese Imported Auto said the axles were bad and replaced them, another HUGE bill. Two days later, one of the wheel bearings started to make a growling noise. They claim it is not their fault, but this was a new bearing that failed very quickly after they replaced the axles. Dude said, "It's like musical chairs, when the music stops, whoever is closest to a chair gets a seat"......meaning that even though they were the ones who had just replaced the axles, I can't blame them for the bearing failure. Stay away from these incompetent crooks!!!

Next thing I know, I'm told I need a new windshield because my rear view mirror fell off when they touched it and a post imbedded in the mirror broke off. A large pit was created in the windshield (I think it happened at this same time) but they told me it was like that when I brought it in. I never saw that large pit prior to that. I was told they need to take the windshield out to fix the leak anyway and when I asked for more explanation, they became angry that I was not totally convinced they were being straight forward with me. This attitude was unacceptable to me so I went to go take my car back. If rather give my money to another shop, where they don't get mad at customers fro asking question. I did not call first and tell them I was coming to get my car and I caught them in the middle of driving the car outside in the middle of a downpour-when they knew a leak was the initial problem. I can only assume they were trying to make the entire situation worse. My husband had a waterproofing tape in his car and ran over and taped up the sunroof as best he could and I tried to have a conversation with the shop owners about squaring up the bill somehow. That was not to be. I came in to get a leak repaired and that was not done and now I also have a busted windshield and mirror and windshield wipers to deal with. They refused to talk to me about any of that and instead began swearing at me and calling me some not very nice terms for a female and threw my keys at me. I knew my husband would be very angry if he heard that. He came back from trying to tape up the sunroof just as one of the men tree the keys at me. The guy later called me to apologize for swearing and using those nasty terms for a woman but the fact is that it happened. I decided to cut my losses and took their invitation to get the heck out of there before any punches were thrown. It was hard to anticipate what could possibly happen next considering the level of vitriol they were so recklessly spewing. It was in the middle of that driving rainstorm when I left and I found the windshield wipers had been removed and they were in my backseat. The motors for the wipers had stopped working in the time they were in their shop. I don't know why. They worked when I took them in there. The drain hoses continued to leak into my car at this moment too. It was totally insane. If this app allowed me to give 0 or negative stars, I would have done so. I do not recommend this shop to anyone for any reason.

From the beginning, funding was never an issue, and once I was presented with the repair estimate and recommended work, I approved everything with the expectation that the repairs would be completed within a reasonable timeframe. To give credit where it's due, when I first brought the truck in, they successfully diagnosed and repaired an issue that several other shops could not figure out. They got the truck running and driving again very quickly, which I genuinely appreciated. Because of how efficiently they handled the difficult diagnostic issue, I was confident the remaining repairs would be completed in a similar manner. After diagnosing the initial problem, they presented me with a lengthy list of additional recommended repairs. I approved the work, and they opted to keep the truck at the shop to complete everything. I also informed them that I was relying on a rental vehicle in the meantime. While I mentioned there was "no rush," that was intended as courtesy--not an expectation that the truck would sit untouched for months. I understand that staffing shortages can create delays, and the owner explained they have been short-staffed since October. However, as a customer, it is frustrating to see previously accepted jobs continually delayed while newer and smaller jobs appear to move ahead in priority. Over the past five months, my truck has essentially been pushed into storage while work on other vehicles continued. I also understand that sourcing parts for a 1988 truck can take additional time. However, I was informed that one of the major parts they had been waiting on shipped on the 20th of last month, and since then there still appears to have been little to no effort made toward installing it or progressing the repairs. Following the shop's Facebook page and making several visits in person only reinforced the impression that my truck was no longer a priority. The delays have completely derailed my spring and summer plans, and getting updates has felt like pulling teeth. After waiting five months, I reached out to the owner simply asking for a rough timeline on when work might resume. The response I received was that I was welcome to remove the truck from the shop if I could not continue waiting. While I respect their ability to diagnose difficult issues, my overall experience with communication, scheduling, and customer service has been extremely disappointing.
