While I normally appreciate a cautious outlook on health, I can't quite shake the feeling that they knew that I was able to pick my daughter up so we were the first call when for whatever reason they needed children to go home early. I will say I enjoyed my daughter's teachers, they were always pleasant. Because of the teachers we were initially willing to overlook a few bumps in the road by making our position and what we expect clear. However, the business practices of the facility remained untenable. Even up to the point where we gave our notice, they cancelled the last week on us. If you plan on taking your child here, either have a really great PTO policy with your job, or keep another sitter on retainer. You will not be able to reliably take your child there and attend to your job.

When filing a formal complaint with the state AND speaking to the owner, both blew him off. When he asked the kids about it they told him the names of the other kids who have been abused by her. They told him she takes them into a separate room and apparently all you hear is her screaming and she grabs them and shakes them and pushes them around while screaming at them. This is completely unacceptable behavior and I really hope the people responsible are held accoubtable.

Sure enough I was told they had a spot for all three of my kids and by the grace of God they were at Knowledge Beginnings 7 days later STABILITY! KB has given my children something they and I have desperately needed in our lives right now for personal reasons. They're happy there. That means the world to me because the last place they were at for only two months, I was desperate to get them out so much that I was nauseous everyday dropping them off. Hearing their cries and the things my six, almost 7yo daughter would tell me. Again I just cannot say enough about the care provided by KB for the whole family. I love their director Erica and assistant director Alex! They're both incredibly friendly and make you feel like you've been friends for two decades kind of friendly but still professional and uphold boundaries to ensure that all are treated the same. They really care about their students and families. The teachers are wonderful especially in keeping contact with us parents about any concerns or even kudos. We all have things going on in our lives at home but Knowledge Beginnings have given such a wonderful, safe, happy, structured, comforting and loving stable environment for my children and I'm so grateful. There was even a period through the summer where the Pre-K classroom has no AC for almost 2 weeks, and the temperature was sometimes over 75 degrees. The staff had no ETA on would it would be fixed. If your child has any special needs, the are centers in the area that cost more, but will accommodate. This center explicitly told us they were not "equipped" to deal with any special needs and that it was not a good fit. I agreed, it was not a good fit. We are now at Kids R Kids and are very happy.

My daughter was in the Director's office with her teacher when she fell off a chair (I still don't know the truth about what actually happened) but that wasn't my biggest concern because she was okay. The issue was that the write up by the Director was initially one scribbled sentence I could barely read. I was angered and offended all at once. I never saw the Director so I passed on a message to have the incident report re written. Long story short, I had to send it back two more times before I received a copy that was the "truth" of my daughters fall. Now that my kids are no longer there, I am sharing this message to show that there is a lack of honesty and respect at Morrisville Creative Schools. I can attest to the other comment about the temperature in the one year old classroom because there were several days where the room was muggy and warm during drop off. There was ONE teacher that kept us at MCS who is headed out. She was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!! My 3 year old was sounding out words and felt confident about reading. She incorporated "show and tell" so that the kids would be comfortable speaking in front of an audience. I can't speak enough about her! The turn over rate for kids and staff is increasing and I have no doubt that management plays a part in this. There needs to be some kind of training to help this school. Lastly, the cameras are a great asset. However, the system didn't work for us when we had a concern. We sat in the office with the Director for 1.5hrs for NOTHING because the records were not accurate and the cameras will only pick up 7 day's worth of footage (which includes weekends). I asked the owner to increase the amount of time of retrieval but I was not made aware that it was actually done. Good luck with this one!

We toured multiple schools, but found immediate comfort and confidence when we toured La Petite on Baines Ct. What attracted us to La Petite initially was the great classroom curriculums, healthy lunches, and the school Director's warm/approachable demeanor. After we enrolled our kids (and in addition to those things) we found that what makes La Petite so wonderful are the dedicated, compassionate teachers, the regular exciting and engaging activities for the kids, and the community of other parents. Our son had the privilege of being in Ms. Dana's Pre-K classroom. He was not only SO prepared academically for Kindergarten thanks to Ms. Dana, but the classroom really fostered his friendships, which gave him great social confidence before beginning Elementary School. Our daughter was enrolled in Upper Two's with Ms. Lily and now is in Preschool with Ms. Taja. Our daughter loves her teachers and looks forward to all the exciting activities they have planned every day. While the academic curriculum is great (she is learning a ton), what we appreciate the most is how much fun she has every day. Whether it's a dance party, classroom yoga, tending the garden outside, or a special guest coming to visit, there is always something fun for her to look forward to. The cherry on top is that our daughter has made some best friends in her classrooms who we hang out with regularly outside of school, too. I don't give out reviews often, but I genuinely feel that La Petite on Baines deserves 5-stars. I am so grateful for the teachers putting in their max effort to make the school such a wonderful, warm atmosphere for our kids. We trusted them even when we didn't look at the cameras. We never felt like he was unsafe or unhappy...They kept us up to date with our son's daily activities through their app and always gave us feedback on the day he had at pick up. The communication has been top tier and the love and patience they gave him will always stick with us. He graduated a few days ago and we're so sad this chapter is closed for so many reasons...one of the biggest is saying good bye to the greatest most loving staff at this location....from the teachers to the wonderful ladies up front to Mr. John in the kitchen. Everyone there KNOWS your child which is so important. This is one of the most important decisions you make as a parent and I can go to work each day without worrying about her care. Not only is she having fun but is learning so much and I feel her time at KB is really going to prepare her for elementary school. And as an only child, the socialization she is getting is key. They do an excellent job of educating while having fun!
