My initial visit included a very comprehensive evaluation for a foot injury I've been dealing with. I have had the need to come here on various occasions (lower back, foot problems) and every time I've been here I've had nothing but exceptional service. From the warm greeting of the entire front desk staff, to the kindness and assistance provided by all the Physical Therapy Aides, to the care and expertise of the Physical Therapists themselves. I especially want to acknowledge the gentile bed side manners of Lucinda Quesada (PT Aide). She always welcomes me with a warm smile and an even warmer goodbye. She is meticulous and takes her time to explain clearly the specific exercises that are required as part of my plan of care. I also want to acknowledge two of the therapists, Christopher Jones and Payam Zarrinpour., both are exceptional. They are patient, knowledgeable, and truly take the time to understand my needs and concerns. They have a wide depth and breath of knowledge in physiology and human anatomy. But more importantly, I sincerely appreciate their sense of humor. Not only do their treatments make me feel better but their personality brings out a healthy hearty laugh in me every time. Sure there are many other PT centers. Some much larger, better equipped, and providing a huge suite of services . I know because I have been to some of them too. But IMHO what makes ActiveCare stand out among the rest is their genuine desire and focus to heal you in an environment that is not clinical but rather very family like. Kudos to one and all and keep up the excellent work!

I have been very pleased with all my experiences at North Jersey PT ! Unfortunately, since 1996 I…read morehave suffered several injuries - arm - ankle - shoulder - that required varying amounts of physical therapy to achieve a return to full strength and range of motion. I had gone to 3 different practices previously and had been satisfied. But in late November 2021, at age 74, I suffered a terrible fall, sustaining a severe leg injury requiring surgery to repair my very badly torn quadriceps tendon, a truly excruciating injury. It wasn't until I had my first visit at North Jersey PT that I realized there could be so very much of a difference from one PT practice to another. These folks are extraordinary medical practitioners! When I had my preliminary exam and assessment with Carol, the owner, I told her I felt like I'd had a visit with an MD! Of course she is a Doctor of PT. But the difference to me was that suddenly the prior experiences I'd had in PT only qualified in my mind as "Good" versus the feeling with Carol was "Okay, now I'm in the Major Leagues!" Most of my appointments have been with Kim and Polixeni, who are also Doctors of PT, and like Carol they also give me the feeling of, "Wow, you're not my Athletic Trainer. You're my DOCTOR!" The other night I said to Polixeni, "Having you work with me isn't just physical therapy it's MetaPhysical. a total mind, body, spirit healing experience." Also the administrative staff members, Marlo and Holly, are very congenial and helpful making every visit a well rounded event. I am so pleased and fully recommend North Jersey PT !!

I specifically asked if the other patients are being required to wear face masks, etc. The doctor told me they were and I made an appointment. There was a 45-minute wait. An elderly woman needed urgent care which was perfectly fine. However, a patient/woman walked out of a treatment room WITHOUT a mask through the reception area. She walked up to the counter next to that same elderly woman (who was making another appointment) and reached right IN FRONT OF HER to use the hand sanitizer on the counter and left. Nothing was said to the woman without the mask that stretched over the elderly patient. Although I needed help with my pain, I left. I was later called by the doctor and told that this behavior is out of their control. Nothing was even said to the woman who was too reckless to care about others. That, I could have respected. She is the one who should have received a call. Not a safe or careful environment.
