I called from New Hampshire, wanted a bunch of birthday flowers delivered to a town near Chester, was told they would go out the same day. I had trouble being understood and understanding, since I seemed to be speaking to a member of a large and noisy phone bank somewhere in India or Bangladesh. I spelled names and address several times but the person still got it wrong and the flowers never arrived. Instead I had a call from the same phone bank, now even noisier, to go through the same process again. I thought it was all a scam to get my credit card information and gave up. read more

Great Florist! Got an anniversary bouquet for my wife, the only thing I specified was to include Calla Lilies and left the rest to their their imagination and design skills. They came up with a fantastic arrangement - beautiful and reasonably priced. The owner, Mary Ellen was a delight to work with. Needless to say, my wife absolutely loved it. I ordered a floral arrangement to be sent to a funeral home....and it was awful. Paid over $200 and was embarassed when I saw it...wilted flowers and poor arrangement. They said they had flowers that had bloomed more than what I saw in the photo could be replaced nand look better... I said ok...they assured me it would look great.... the picture showed 6 large florals with smaller ones in a circle..... and I got 4 small wilted white flowers. This was a standing floral and looked like a cheap wreath, with other very small wilted flowers. Complete rip off and will never use or recommend them. read more

Such a wonderful experience to deal with Maryellen at Chester Floral and Design. The flowers are always fresh and unique...the arrangements are ALWAYS gorgeous. Every time I have sent flowers from here the recipient raves. I needed a last minute arrangement and this time I also got myself some flowers... I stopped by, shortly after ordering them, to find a vase ready bouquet wrapped in burlap with lace ribbon. What a great pick me up in these crazy times. Store clean...masks on and extremely accommodating service. Can't ask for more. I highly recommend...definitely 5 star plus! read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. I went into Chester Floral and Design to order my own birthday flowers. My birthday is in the middle of December, my favorite flowers are daisies. When the hubby waits to order at the usual place they don't have enough daisies and I get some holiday based bouquet. I told Chester Floral and Design I wanted daisies, lots of white daisies, if she had to use filler, only blue and yellow. My flowers came today. 3 stalks of white daisies, several gerber daisies of pinks and orange and a bunch of pink, orange, green and purple filler. Obviously I was not heard or listened to. It is a beautiful bouquet, just not what I ordered. I am extremely disappointed. I was even told they always have plenty of daisies on hand. I'll never use Chester Floral Design again. read more
