I began with Dr. Mark back in March of 2013 after many Doctor visits where they were unable to find the cause of my daily chronic pain often so severe that it severely impacted my daily functioning. I was barely able to struggle through four hours of afterschool teaching and was looking into disability. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which was later to be found to be diagnosed as neuropathy, and was put on a high dose of Neurontin three times a day. In addition I also suffered with severe chronic bronchial asthma I.am now able to function daily at sunrise until bedtime with limited occasional pain in some areas and none in others. In addition , I suffered from severe irritable bowel syndrome multiple times a day. All medications have been reduced, and some eliminated altogether. My asthma is improved greatly, medications have been reduced, and rarely do I need my nebulizer breathing machine. I have no difficulty with daily personal care or mobility activities. I have been gluten free for one and a half years and dairy free six months, and the difference is amazing. My anxiety level is way down, and I feel so much better! I sleep well and am very conscious of my daily nutritional needs. I exercise regularly and take part in many social activities. I have recently accepted a full-time teaching job and continue to rapidly improve. The credit I give to God and feel very blessed that He sent Dr. Mark to help me achieve my goal of being able to function daily with full mobility and without pain. The difference of; daily chronic pain, limited mobility with a need of a walker some days and not knowing any pain-free days, to now and being able to function daily, know what pain-free is, and to be in a health position to accept a full-time job is huge and I am very grateful to Dr. Mark. read more

I am a new patient of Dr. Mark and I find the staff very nice and welcoming, also to my surprise the doctor when passing by the front desk came to me personally and introduced himself. Dr. Mark is very good at explaining my condition and the steps to getting better. I don't have to wait long in waiting area because they have always been on time. Before going to this doctor I was in a lot of pain, now I am getting the best of help because in only a couple of weeks I feel a whole lot better because he has really gotten to the root of the problem and it seems to me everything that has been done, like the appointments,the adjustments, the massages, are done on time and move very smoothly. Dr. Mark and his staff are hands down the best at what they do. My wife and I have been with them for close to 20 years now. Dr. Mark has helped my Husband, son, daughter and I. I am beyond grateful for the relief he has given my son who is 10 years old. Ever since my son has been able to walk he would complain of back pain. His regular doctors told us he would grow out of it, or offer up a prescription for the pain. But they never did anything to find or fix what was truly causing the pain. If we went for hikes or just a simple walk around the block he would hunch over and complain his back hurt. After running 2 marathons in '99 and '01, my hips hurt for almost 18 years. Just a trip to Target had me aching in pain by the time I was finished. I have been a patient at Chesapeake Wellness Center for about 7 months now. Dr. Mark and the staff is wonderful! My original complaint of shoulder pain has improved tremendously since my initial visit with Dr. Mark. My treatment plan started with ultrasound therapy, massage and adjustments. Exercises specific to my condition were added in to continue the healing process.
