It was honestly the best decision for the wedding I ever made and Katrina at Love Blooms was the best person I could have gone with! I started looking into having a day of coordinator about 8 months or so before our wedding and was blown away by some of the quotes we had received. There was no way I could afford that. However, Katrina's prices are much more reasonable and well worth every cent! I met with Katrina in person about 6 months before the wedding and we talked through my thoughts for the day. She also helped calm my nerves and give me some direction on some ideas I had but didn't know how to follow through on them. Starting about a month or two before the wedding she really helped with more of the details, telling me what might be missing in my day of timeline and items like that. Honestly, with very little direction I told her everything that needed to be set up and she did it all, amazingly, exactly as requested. She attended our rehearsal and told everyone in attendance that from here on out, if they have a question, they should go to her instead of the bride and groom. I could have kissed her! The wedding day went off beautifully and she was somehow magically there whenever I had a question about something, which honestly was very rarely because everything was perfect, mainly thanks to her hard work. And to top it all off, when my new husband's and my ride for the night didn't show up, she drove us to our hotel! Seriously, hire her!

I hired Katrina last minute as a…read moreday-of-coordinator when I started to realize that I did not want myself or my mother to be running around worrying about the little things on my wedding day. And THANK GOD I did. From our very first meeting she was very professional, thinking of potential scenarios that had not even occurred to me. She came to the rehearsal which turned out to be very valuable since my church was less than experienced with wedding proceedings. On the day of my wedding, Katrina did all the set-up at the reception (I basically handed her a bunch of trinkets/decorations and her creative eye made the room look better than I could have ever imagined), fixed my father's boutonniere when it snapped in two, shuffled flowers from the church to the reception in the pouring rain, counted cupcakes for me during one of my bridezilla moments, cleaned up at the end of the night, and I'm sure much more that I was not even aware of! She thought of so many extra things such as taking the personalized labeled wine bottles home with her because she knew (even before I did!) that I would want to keep them as a memento. She not only took care of me and my husband, but she also looked after my guests. She even drove a couple of my friends home when their taxi never showed up! Amazing. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she is very trustworthy and thoughtful. I am grateful beyond words that she was there to make everything run smoothly so that my husband, family, guests and I could enjoy the day. She is an excellent coordinator worth far more than she charges. I recommended her wholeheartedly to anyone considering hiring a wedding coordinator. And if you are not considering at least a day-of-coordinator, trust me that you do not want your mom or Aunt Betty to be managing all these unpredictable nuances. HIRE KATRINA!

Planning before we met Monaique was chaos, but hiring her gave us confidence that our big day would be everything we dreamed about. She is very responsive, whenever you text or call her, you will get the response really quickly. Even though we thought we had most things planned, and we hired her only two months before our wedding, she provided so many valuable ideas and helped us with so many things that we did not know we left out. To name a few things we certainly appreciated: - Make multiple copies of the seating chart so guests know where to go and don't need to all crowd around one sign - You can always walk slower during your ceremony, and your guests want you to anyway - We didn't have a garter and she went out of her way to get one for us at the last minute It was a day we'll remember forever and we're so grateful Monaique helped make it happen!

I'd HIGHLY recommend her to anyone considering hiring a planner for their special day.

Everyone says planning a wedding is one of the most stress events but Jessica made every step of wedding planning a breeze. From the mood board, to the meet ups, to all the little details, Jessica was on top of the scheduling, booking, and most importantly helped me stay within my budget. I had met with her initially to acquire about day-of-coordination, but I was clearly overwhelmed and underprepared. So three months before my wedding, she graciously helped me plan everything-- the only things I had locked in at the time were my venue and catering. My wedding was in Mountain View, and I lived in San Francisco, but she was able to meet me in both cities, and also Fremont and Milpitas for cake-tasting and florals. I seriously give her all the credit for making my wedding day a dream come true. The difficult thing about my venue was that nothing came included. Catering, equipment, lights, chairs, tables all had to come from outside vendors. She understood my budget and referred me to the best vendors and also made sure that I was on time with all my payments. She took care of business with excellence but she was even more amazing with all the details. She helped me complete the wedding with beautiful pinteresty details that I love but can't do on my own (especially for my own wedding). On the day of, all I had to do was enjoy the day. She made sure all the vendors were there on-time for setup and cleanup. My family still tells me how much they loved my wedding!

I've officially come full circle with the crying when having the feels. I started tearing up…read more while watching myself tear up during our vows in our wedding highlight video. This is the most meta experience I've ever had and I'm 80% embracing it (this is who you married Jenton L.!!) and 20% embarrassed to be admitting this to strangers on the internet. And this embaras-mazing meta experience is brought to you by Anna and her team of talented videographers, Philip and Rosa. When budgeting the wedding, we were wavering on whether or not to hire videographers. After seeking the advice of married friends, we got unanimous answers of "Yes, do it!" and "Yes, do it! I wish I had!" They were all unequivocally right. Having watched almost 100 different highlight wedding videos online (no joke, I'm still recovering), I really loved Seaglass Cinema's "real life movies." All the feelings and clips seemed so real and not overly staged or over-produced. It's the kind of video that's timeless and you can't wait to show your kids or reminisce at a future anniversary. Thankfully, we found Seaglass Cinema.** To plagiarize my previous review of Anna's photography business: "Anna is super easy to communicate with, responds quickly to e-mails, and is as cool as a cucumber. It didn't phase her that I sent her an e-mail six weeks out that only consisted of questions regarding the timeline for wedding day. She didn't even bat an eye when we were running late on wedding day but also, somehow magically made up the time and put us ahead of schedule." Philip and Rosa were amazing videographer ninjas. There were some clips in the highlight video were I went "THEY WERE RECORDING THIS?!?" Also, they worked great with our DJ in making sure they could capture recordings from the microphones during the ceremony and first dance (Jenton L. sang me a song!). But I have to say the most professional/amazing moment was Philip double-fisting TWO heavy cameras during our recessional WHILE WALKING BACKWARDS AND RECORDING FOOTAGE. AND THE FOOTAGE LOOKED AMAZING!! When our highlight video was up (awesome turnaround time!), I immediately watched it no less than five times in a row and cried in the open at work. It should have probably come with the warning message about the feels. Booking Seaglass Cinema is a decision you won't regret. Like all of our friends, if you're thinking about booking a videographer, DO IT!!!! And Seaglass Cinema will put together those amazing memories in a video that will last a lifetime. **Full disclosure, we had already planned on booking Anna to be our wedding photographer. Booking photo + video together does include a discount.

We originally booked them for the basic package, which included 6 hours of shooting. On the day of, they made it to our location early - which was great because I was concerned we wouldn't have any getting-ready footage if they arrived even a few minutes past the scheduled time. They were able to provide us with helpful direction when we needed it, and Anna even came to the rescue with double-sided tape to help hold the fabric on my wedding dress neckline in place when it kept shifting! We ended up running a bit behind schedule, but Anna and Kevin were polite and very unobtrusive when reminding us that we were scheduled to shoot only until 2:20 (we ended up extending shooting for an hour). And, we got our highlight film an (extremely fast) week and a half after the wedding. The film did a great job of capturing the day in just a few short minutes and represented exactly why we'd chosen them in the first place - we thought they were great at telling a cohesive "story" through video. It was a pleasure working with the Seaglass team and I'd recommend them to anyone in the market for a wedding videographer! We love the highlight segment we got from them and know we'll watch it over and over throughout the years!
