Prior to the major surgery, the same patient saw Dr. Iqbal for his sudden shortness of breath and sky high blood pressure. He was told he probably only needed Xanax. When he presented at the ER with the same symptoms it was discovered that he needed triple bypass heart surgery (the one this doctor believes he should be able to recover from in two weeks). Same patient suffered a stroke which left him with temporary paralysis on one side of his body. Dr. Iqbal believed he should return to work at his warehouse job in a couple of days despite his paralysis.

She will tell you that it is too stressful to deal with the patient and tell you you have to find another Dr doctor. Then when a doctor yells at you telling you "she should have listened to a receptionist(Barbie) about my medical advice" makes you wonder what kind of doctor you are dealing with. I went to her complaining about an allergic reaction to her nurse practitioner & a week later to her then when my heart doctor caught it and sent me to an allergy clinic she got all mad and said "i dont use that one & that i have to use to allergy clinic she uses". She asked me why I didn't inform her about the allergic reaction I told her I've been in there twice in the past 2 weeks complaining about it & that the hive make my throat swell closed and all she told me was "it was indigestion".So when I was in there today and she realize she made a mistake and it was not indigestion I became a very stressful patient she couldn't deal with me no more and I had to find another doctor. When i asked her what did i do wrong? she had nothing to say. Then wonder my patients get the way they do! I would like to thank dr. Akbar for showing her true colors and what kind of doctor she is. When she tried to scolled me about another doctor catching something she missed it's time to stop holding your tongue and cuss them out. It was pretty funny when her receptionist thought she was going to tell me I cannot speak to a doctor that way but I'll be damned if I'm going to let a doctor or a low-paid receptionist speak to me in that tone without cussing them out. Rhonda shut her mouth real quick when she realized i was not going to let them scolled me like a little kid. Then if u have a problem and want to talk to the dr. her low paid receptionist won't let you talk to them the doctor you have to make up a lie to get in to see her just to discuss your problem. Then Barbie and Rhonda get snippy, mad and cause problems because you went around them.

How illegal can that be? I could go to the main hospital and sign and boom get my results however I think they are so money hungry and the office staff is very disorganized and rude. I will be switching because of the horrible office staff they have and will not be recommending at all
