They have several interesting and somewhat unique elements that I've not encountered at other hobby shops: (1) They have constructed a steep rock adorned grade to radio controlled cars and trucks to attempt to navigate; (2) They have a long dedicated drag strip for side-by-side drag strip racing; (3) There is a large oval slot car track in the back for slot car racing. Not sure what the size/gauge cars the track is for. It's clearly for larger than AFC style/size cars. Looked to see what they had in the way of O-gauge train cars. They don't currently stock much of that - but they offered up that they can order stuff, The guy running the place was nice. Cool shop! Check them out! #StrasburgHobbies

They loaded the furniture in my 3bdrm Townhouse in about 45 minutes and packed the truck very well with the blankets I rented from U-Haul. Once at our new house they unloaded everything and even placed the full truck of boxes I moved the day before from the garage to the appropriate rooms. Blankets were put down to protect floors, and they took great care to not damage any items or walls through the move. They did not take breaks and worked non-stop. Justin, the owner also gave me a military discount. CONS: Appointment was for 9am, I was contacted about 9:10 am to let me know that there was some scheduling issues and that they would get to me "shortly". After a very long day of waiting, they finally arrived at 5pm. Communication could have been better, letting me know they were doing a full move before me and would not get to me until late afternoon. RECOMMENDATION: If time is on your side give them a try. Workers were great and I appreciated the work.

DO NOT HIRE! I…read morereached out to Justin Travis Corey in August of 2024 to have his guys load my U-haul storage boxes. He was polite and quick to schedule me. His guys arrived on time but did not have any tools to take apart the bed frames, dismount the tv's, or to take apart a desk. I had to dig out my tools after packing them to get the ball rolling. The guys were sloppy, untrained, and had no idea what they were doing. We hired College Hunks to unload our boxes and that's when mess got worse. College Hunks pointed how terrible they had packed the items. We had three TV's that were laid with the screens face down and then multiple items stacked on top of them. Our large screen TV has a crack in the LCD because of this. The placement of our dresser ripped the memory foam of our $3,000 Sealy Posture Pedic Hybrid mattress. We had two support beams of our king size bed frame with broken feet because they appeared to be just thrown in. Because we did not have all of the necessary support beams to hold the bed we couldn't sleep in our own bed for the first week in our new home. A leg on the desk was also broken, and finally our antique wooden glass cabinet has a large gash on the side of it. Easily over a thousand dollars worth of damage. I reached out to Justin Travis Corey and he apologized and I settled for a $700 just to the get the matter done with. We had our U-Haul boxes unpacked in October of 2024. It is now March of 2025 and Justin Travis Corey has only paid me $300 despite multiple promises of payments.... We rented the palm tree combo slide and bounce house for my 3 year old's birthday party. It was…read moresuper easy to pick and order the bounce house using their website. The company called and confirmed 24 hours before. Super nice guy delivered and set up the house with no issues. Unfortunately, the bounce house also doubled as a water slide so the bounce house had a strong mildew smell. The kids didn't seem to mind, but I would not rent one that doubled for use with water again. The other issue was that the palm trees tended to bend to the right which caused the bounce house to collapse on the kids every so often. So we had to constantly have an adult watching who would have to go pop it back up each time it did this. Over all the kids had a lot of fun with combo slide and bounce house option. The company was very easy to work with. I would use them again but be more careful with the selection of bounce house.

We rented three inflatables for a company picnic. We paid for two generators, and they brought us…read moreone "larger generator that would work for all inflatables". The generator they brought us had a faulty carbon dioxide sensor (we think) and failed about 20 times over the course of 4 hours. It had plenty of gas but continued cutting off at random times. This was a serious safety concern, as the inflatables kept collapsing on children, with a very real suffocation risk due to water on the water-slide. Children were terrified and some remained so through the event. We reached out about 10 times to Five Alarm Fun to tell them of the issue and to get a replacement generator, and they were unresponsive. Event was in June 2025. We have still been unable to contact them for a refund.
