Wow! What can I say this place is just amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed at the D'Vine Cottage and just loved it. They had a tray of locally sourced cheeses upon our arrival, the room was spotless and so cute with lots of space. The bathroom that was connected, was gorgeous and about the size of my bedroom at home. Large spa tub with walk-in shower. There are two other cottages that surround a beautiful water feature in the courtyard - and it was all so quiet with great views of Hill Country. I highly recommend Cherry Mountain Cottages. My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for our 10th anniversary. The location is beautiful and serene, and the cottages are very clean and like new. The owners were hospitable from afar, welcoming us with an anniversary card, chocolates, and a cheese/fruit tray with crackers. It was only an 8-10 minute drive to Fredericksburg's main drag--convenient while still allowing space from the traffic and tourists. We will definitely be returning! read more

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! As soon as we got out of the car we could smell the wonderful scent from all the wild flowers around the cottages. We stayed in the d'vine cottage and it more than lived up to it's name. Both patios were surrounded by abundant Texas wildflowers, many butterflies and humming birds! There was a tray of fantastic cheeses and grapes waiting for us in the fridge that paired perfectly with the wine we bought. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, with fantastic linens and a luxurious fluffy comforter. The bathroom had a phenomenal airtub in addition to a European-style walk in shower. The last evening of our stay we sat on the patio, enjoying some grilled steak and wine and marveled at three young deer grazing not more than 150 ft from us. The location of the cottages are ideal if you want to enjoy a secluded country retreat while still only being minutes from Main Street. Susan went the extra mile to accommodate us in many ways and we will absolutely be staying here next time we visit. read more
