Wait for 10 mins max after check-in then be ushered into the fold, check my weight ushered into an exam room where the nurse updates all my info. Then wait 10-15 mins for Dr. to show up, after a comprehensive checkup I leave. All very good service. NOW IHA has started a practice, you dont even have to pay a copay. They just bill you. And if you cant pay the bill, there is access One that will setup a payment plan as to what you can afford. So everyone is happy.

They also withheld my medical records for weeks while trying to get emergent help elsewhere. A month after requesting my records I was finally able to be seen by a different provider and an understanding surgeon and nurse who simply asked:"Was she just wanting you to bleed out?" My only response was... I guess so. Thank God I switched health care providers. I would not recommend this or any UF health Womens center employee or provider. They could care less if you live or die.

She has the patience, the up to date knowledge and the caring that makes her an excellent practitioner. She truly takes the time to listen to concerns. She makes recommendations while giving options and suggestions of which route to take. All of this with a non-judgemental, humanistic approach. The world needs more of her caliber. The practice is located at Seven Mile and Newburgh. There is on site pharmacy, xray and lab in the building with plentiful parking.

The other bright side Dr. I had access to all my labs in the U of M health system and the St Joe system. I had two issues that have developed over the last year and he was able to issue referrals for treatment from my previously used specialists. Something my former PCP would not do. He is a partner in "Partners In Internal Medicine". They have two offices, 1 in Canton the other in Ann Arbor. They have an onsite lab so I have to go back Monday morning to complete today's visit. My spouse sees Dr. Hashemian from the same practice. We highly recommend the treatment we receive.

My wife and I both have used Heather as well, same story if something is out of her scope she will let you know to see Doc. Very little seems to be out of scope. For the lady with Lyme disease, sorry you have that I have a sister with it. But to be fair, that is one of the hardest diseases to diagnose, my sister who flew to every big name hospital(literally) in America took almost 10 years for someone to finally diagnose it. I was so nervous about going because of bad experiences at other locations. I had a digital breast cancer screening done at this location and I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism form the staff. Starting with Kimberly who was at the desk helping me check in. The area is small and not to busy. As soon as I completed a questionnaire on a tablet, I went to the dressing room and changed into a gown which ties closed. The changing room/booth is small with a cloth curtain to pull close. When I was done, I went to a waiting area where they offered water & coffee. I didn't wait long, and the technician called me back. Take you purse with you at this time as there is not a place to secure it. The technician went over the questions with me from the questioner I completed earlier. She explained everything she was doing and why. Very efficient and quickly done. She will ask you to hold you breath for a few seconds for each picture. I was exposed when she had to place the breast on the table, but you still had the gown cover you on the other side for this view. The next 2 photos you must take your arm out as they try and get as much as the armpit as they can in the photo as you are exposed again, but you are still covered on the other side. Then you switch sides and do it again. A total of 4 pictures were taken and maybe 15 minutes at the most for the imaging part. I was definitely more relaxed in a small setting like this and my anxiety was lowered. Thank you for a great patient experience!
