This dental office has exceptional customer service and in my experience dental cleaning, including attention to detail and customer care.

Unless than 3 yrs I've see 5 different dentists here. I have had a ton of dental work in my life and really need a dentist who knows my teeth. First dentist was when I developed a tooth ache on a front bottom molar. Ut had a chipped filling, and I assumed there was decay. Dentist said no and she could top it off. She did say, however, that 2 root canals on lower molars were failing and needed to be redone and that I had periodontal disease. Turns out the tooth that ached not only had decay, but needed a root canal. The lower molar root canals were not failing, and I didn't have periodontal disease. She did miss a front tooth root canal that was failing - had an abscess at the top of the root. Another time I had a molar filling done and within 2 mo a chip came out if the filling which has gotten bigger, putting it at risk for decay. They did let that first dentist go. The positive is the endodontist who works with this group. Stellar work, and neat guy. You can tell he's passionate about his job and cares about patients. read more

I had a great experience at Cherry Creek dental group. Everyone from the front desk staff to the dentist to the hygienist were amazing! Everyone cared to know more about me, and really found time to sit and chat because it was a new patient appointment, they said it would take two hours, and they were right on time. also appreciate them sharing the cost of everything along the way overall, I am grateful that I picked this dentist group in my new city, and will definitely be back again in six months! a small perk? Although I had a great experience with the dentist, dental assistants, receptionists, and dental hygienists during my first cleaning with them in later summer of 2021 those opinions all changed after my first big dental procedure at this practice. I was hit with a surprise medical bill almost two years (19 months) post procedure in fall of 2021. Despite having asked each subsequent visit (3 times post crown), I was never made aware of a balance due on my account. I have since changed dentists because I didn't like how pushy it felt with the dentist who insisted that I needed to go see their orthodontist when my teeth were in no way impacted or crowded. In fact, when I went to our family orthodontist, my family orthodontist mentioned any changes that he would be making were PURELY cosmetic. After waiting almost four weeks post-initial contact (via email and automated text message) about the bill from services in 2021 (initiated by CCDG in late may 2023). I was told that I had owed a balance on my account. This company/healthcare service provider had since fall of 2021 to let me know about the balance due. At no point post October 2021 through pre-May 2023 were any billing attempts or phone calls made to notify me of this balance. Deeply disappointing. I have low confidence in the billing and communication practices that are employed in this dental company. I cannot say that I recommend. There are many different dental practices in the area with a more adept billing department and staff who communicate bills and balances due in a timely manner. If you don't want to be impacted by a surprise medical bill, stay away. read more

In short, if you care about good customer service and giving your business to a practice that actually cares about your business, look elsewhere. My care was transferred here when my previous dentist Dr. Yi - who I loved! - closed her practice. I gave them two years of my business and wish I'd walked away after my first visit when I simply didn't have a good feeling about this place. The first dentist I saw didn't follow up with the information I requested for example and I had to initiate the communication to obtain it. I've left several messages on the general voice line that were never returned, including one on the line for emergency care. I had a botched filling by an unprofessional staff member (who I was assured no longer works there) that they did redo for me at no cost. However, I was charged a $53 exam fee which should have been waived, and which I had been waiting for 11 days to receive a call or email back from Macy about it. I called today and was able to get the fee reversed, but the ball should have been in their court after my initial emails. It was also frustrating that instead of blocking off time to do the filling when I went in on 10/2, I had to wait 9 days from determining the filling needed to be redone to being able to fix it, and in that time I was in pain. Dr. Ibrahim is great and there are a few good hygienists here, but the lack of customer service standards really drags this place down. read more

I am shocked at the fraudulent practice this business is running. Every dental scam in the book will be thrown at you if you go here. They will tell you that you need braces. They will tell you you need X-rays way more often than what is actually recommended. Metal filling/mercury scam? Yup. Oh and don't worry, they will also charge you for all these fraudulent services even after they tell you that your insurance is covering it. This place is basically a scam and most of their good reviews are from when they were under different ownership. 1. Like other reviewers, they told me I needed a bunch of dental work that I learned I didn't actually need after getting a 2nd opinion. 2. When my orthodontist saw I went here she told me that this practice "isn't great. All of the good doctors left" 3. The bill they gave me was completely different from the one they sent my insurance, and they overcharged me. Have had multiple emails back & forth trying to get the amount refunded and they've never explained the discrepancy. I have a friend who went here and also had a similar experience. My husband and I have been patients of Dr Micklin before they merged into Cherry Creek Dental Group (CCDG), and like all of Dr Micklin's patients, the standard of care is just not the same to what Dr Micklin gave. CCDG is a bigger practice, and with too many hands in the pot, the staff are all working over each other and things are never correct! For example, they have an appointment reminder system to remind you of an upcoming appointment. They don't just text you once or twice, but text you 6 different times leading up to the appointment with multiple requests to confirm your appointment and threats of the last minute cancellation fee if the appt isn't confirmed, except these texts are weeks before the appt. Despite the multiple harassing text messages, someone from the office texted me asking for my husbands info as they had a "hard time getting ahold of him"; he's received no notifications from them DESPITE the text messages before all the previous appts. I informed her that he has received no messages from CCDG and requested she reach out to him to get this cleared up and gave her his phone number again. No answer. I messaged again asking if everything was cleared up and she confirmed she was able to get ahold of him and confirmed his upcoming appt and thanked me for my help. Fast forward, he receives another automated text a couple weeks before the appt saying he's due for a 6 month check up. He calls CCDG, they confirm his appointment AGAIN. Fast forward again to his appt, he took off work to show up to his appointment and they told him his appointment had been rescheduled, despite the fact he had never agreed to this appointment change. Despite the multiple calls, and texts back and forth, the staff at CCDG are not communicating with each other and appointments are getting double booked or not booked properly. I understand people make mistakes, but they should have made this right. The office manager came out and asked them to privately talk in her office in which she offered to get him rescheduled, or wait to see if the next patient shows up to their appointment. My problem with this was they kept him there waiting for an hour! The automated messages say if you don't confirm your appt, it'll be give you someone else. So either the person after didn't confirm their appt and the threats about canceling the appt aren't true, or knowing they weren't going to make any accommodations for their mistakes, kept him wasting another hour of work time for false hope. They blame the new system they've transferred to, but this was one example of the many issues we have occurred over the past couple of years. I've had a patient take my appointment time during my first appt there, and I ended up waiting 45 minutes before being seen. I've had multiple added charges they try and tack on during the appointments like the laser cleaning that I have specifically requested not to have, but they will try and charge me anyway. I've paid for fluoride treatments and was sent off without it; the list goes on. I was hoping to find a new dentist here at CCDG, and while the dentists themselves seem nice, the practice is a disaster. Nothing gets done correctly, the office manager isn't helpful, and they don't make any accommodations through their countless mistakes. This makes me feel like I'm not valued as a patient, but just another way for them to scam another buck out of their customers. read more

Call me nieve, but I thought my experience with Cherry Creek Dental Group was an outlier. After reading other recent reviews I see that their office management and billing team are taking advantage of many people. I would like to say Dr. Ibrahim and the hygienist team are fantastic and from my experiences they are not a part of the problem. My previous dentist sold her practice to CCDG. Upon the merge they verified that my insurance was in-house and that I would have all the coverage as before. Fast forward to my first cleaning with CCDG and I get a bill a few weeks later for out of house services. Upon calling to inquire, they confirm they hadn't finished their paperwork to get that dentist covered with my insurance therefore the service was out of house. Though they eventually removed the charge, this is simple administrative neglect on their part. They passed charges onto their clients because they hadn't done their job. 6 months later I go back in for a cleaning. I tell them I'm also interested in whitening services. They say the in office is $600 and the take home option is $350. *This is where I failed to do research * Trusting them, I purchased the take home option. After using the full kit I was talking with a friend who is also a dentist and told her what I paid. She was shocked! Come to find out, the product they are charging clients $350 for can be purchased online for $40-$60. I should have done my homework! Upon bringing this to the offices attention they were unable to tell me exactly why they are charging $350 for a product you can buy at Walmart for $50! They credited my account $100 but that surely does not make up for the $300 overcharge. Simply put, the front office and billing are using at best lazy billing tactics and at worst unethical and predatory methods. read more

I am get pretty anxious at the dentist, so when I needed a few fillings I had a lot of misgivings. Shannon was so kind and helped me come up with options. Abby (I believe) at the front desk was so gentle and kind. Dr Guo is very kind and does a great job explaining. Overall they were respectful of my time, and accommodating of my nerves. The dental hygienist was very abrupt and was not a good fit for me, but everyone else made up for her. read more

Overall it's the worst dental practice I've ever experienced. When you walk in your descent into misery is just getting started. If your account is past due, you'll receive a stern lecture from the business manager or one of the many mother hens at the main desk. Then you'll meet with their insurance person to collect payment. They tell you what the expected insurance payment is going to be and bill you on the spot for the remainder. Don't bother to show up early because the wait time for your appointment can fluctuate between 15 minutes to 1 hour. Don't worry though, your dentist or hygenist will make sure they finish their "convos" before seeing you. Don't expect any kind of apology for the inconvenience because you won't get one. Instead you'll get the standard drivel "We didn't forget about you!" or "Our previous patient took longer than expected." The cleaning and dental care is sub par and you will hit a point where you'll question how you ended up at Cherry Creek Dental Group. Whoever recommended this place must not really like you, dental care or both. Oh but wait, it gets better. The billing department is beyond incompentent and will bill you repeatedly months after you've paid your bill. You will need to prove that you paid your bill. Expect to stay on this roller coaster even after you stop going to this dentist. Overall it's the worst dental practice I've ever experienced. read more

My dentist left town. She had connected herself to this group. I'm completely outraged with what has happened. They were pushing me to do crowns. The patient coordinator said my insurance would pay $250 per crown. I was surprised how good my coverage was. Then they pushed me to do crowns I might not really need. So I did 2 crowns. But ended up paying alot more. I feel manipulated. When during my reconciliation on the account they were very vague and didnt answer to the account. I've been very happy with my experiences so far. They do identify a lot more areas of concern than my prior dentist but I feel that has to do with the advanced technology they use. But, so far, they've only said they want to keep an eye on it and have not pushed for treatment now. I feel more comfortable that real issues will be detected early, maybe before they become a big deal. They also have an in-house insurance plan. I did the math on cost, coverage, and deductibles compared to the dental insurance plans my company offers and it was slightly better. I was happy to have options outside of only those offered by my employer, which I would rate as a B- read more

I resisted regular dentistry in my late 20s and early 30s, but now I look forward to regular visits. Everyone, from the receptionists to the rest of the staff, is pleasant, welcoming, careful, compassionate, and consummately professional. I am particularly impressed by Dr. Micklin, Dr. Nguyen, Cat (the best hygienist bar none), and Teresa (who always has something kind to say). I wish there was a way to give a negative review because I have had the worse experience with the the owner of Willow Creek Dental Group, this is the worse experience I have ever seen and Mark Blakeley was screaming at me on the phone that she does not make phone calls without a witness. If this is the case WHY would she call me. But I was told she would call me but she stated she has staff to make her calls because she does not have time to do them. Mary Lou in the office DOSE NOT respond when she says she will. Dianne who is part of the group is the WORSE and should not be in a position where she interacts with humans. SHE LIES!! I have been almost 6 months trying to get information from them on implants need because a member of this dental group had shoty work an DID not do a cost effective permanent fix. They alter patience records so conversations you have had with members of the group are incomplete or inaccurate based on the conversations I have had with them. I normally don't take the time to write negative reviews but I think my experience at Cherry Creek Dental Group deserves one. I had chipped a front tooth and went to this practice to see what could be done. I met with Dr. Nguyen and without even really taking any time or even taking a deeper look at my tooth except at a distance, he suggested that I need more work than what was wrong at the time and I would need to schedule another visit to have any work done. He talked about replacing the additional crowns/veneers that I had in place. He also said that I should get a full x ray exam. When I mentioned that I had recently had this done at my old dentist, he said that they might have a hard time reading them. He did offer to have them done for free. I just felt like I was being upsold on a lot of other unnecessary services. I thought to myself, "what's next, a deep cleaning is needed to get my broken tooth fixed?" I decided to get a second opinion. The next dentist gave me a temporary filling the same visit. They also requested my previous dental x rays, which were perfectly readable and I had no issues that needed to be addressed. I would not recommend Cherry Creek Dental Group to anyone and I am so glad that I sought a second opinion. I had the distinct impression that they were more concerned about revenue than patient care. read more

I was a patient of Micklin Dental for several years. Dr. Micklin was named one of the 10 best dentists in Denver. He was ethical and caring. Unfortunately, Dr. Micklin got Covid in 2020, right about the time his practice merged with Cherry Creek Dental Group. He was unavailable to care for his patients. I went to the new practice for a teeth cleaning, expecting the same treatment from CCDG as I got from Micklin Dental. It didn't happen. Not. At. All. As others have said, CCDG is predatory. I had an appointment to prep for a crown, but I had to cancel the day of for a medical emergency. When I called again to reschedule, they said the dentist wanted to see me for a consultation. I didn't ask for a consultation, but "someone" had canceled my upcoming appointments without my knowledge or consent, so I agreed. I needed to get my crown. Macy McKechnie, the patient coordinator (a.k.a. the financial representative) was there at the consultation. The dentist, Dr. Watterson, recommended a full upper denture, which would have cost $8000. That's a LOT more than I paid for my lower implant dentures. I asked her why she didn't say something at our previous dental appointment. She said she didn't have enough time to study my chart. That's a load of...well. The crown would have already been on my tooth, if "someone" had not cancelled my procedures. I told the dentist I couldn't afford the dentures. She pressured me, but I refused. I opted for the crown. I later learned that Cherry Creek Dental Group has their own in-house insurance. I'm sure they would have been glad to set me up for a payment plan. I wonder what the interest is on $8000? I wonder if they get bonuses? After the consultation, the dentist was supposed to change out my 2 locator o-rings on my bottom implant denture. The denture wouldn't stay in place with worn o-rings, so Dr. Micklin changed them out twice a year. He didn't charge me anything. The cost was so minimal he didn't think it was worth it. At this practice, the financial representative wanted to charge me FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS to replace the o-rings. That's FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS twice a year! You can buy a package of 100 dental o-rings for $8 on Amazon, plus the dental tool for $19. I'm glad my daughter was there to witness it; otherwise, I doubt anyone would have believed the price they wanted to charge me! I complained, loudly. The financial representative said, for one time only, they would charge me a courtesy fee of $100. Thus, I paid $100 as a "bargain price" for a service which had previously been free. Even as I got my card out, I had a niggling suspicion that I had been "had". After I left the office I remembered that I had a treatment plan from a few months ago referencing the o-rings. I looked it up. The financial representative said "as for the locator o-ring, we would just charge you for the parts, which is a nominal fee." When I went on the internet to look it up, I saw that the o-rings cost less than a penny. $100 is not a nominal fee; it's a 100,000 per cent markup. I wondered if I had just experienced a new version of the old "bait and switch" con. They offered a service, which I needed, at $500 to see if I would go for it. If I didn't, they switched to a lower, but still excessive price of $100, which was their purpose all along. I can't prove it, but it's my opinion the CCDG regularly indulges in shady business practices, like this. Buyer beware. Its a shame that the good name of Dr. Micklin is associated with Cherry Creek Dental Group. I will never go back. In my opinion, the practice is predatory and unethical. Stay away. I went on the website for the Better Business Bureau to see if they were a member. No, they weren't. What a surprise. read more

I had been seeing Dr Micklin for a few years and had had a great experience. Recommended a few friends who also enjoyed their experience. When the practice merged with Cherry Creek Dental Group, all of a sudden I had all kinds of cavities, may need a root canal and more. I thought this was odd so took to the internet only to find many others experiencing this same issue at the same time as the merge. After further discussion with 2 friends I referred to the practice, I find out the same thing has also happened to BOTH of them, where they've been told they have all sorts of cavities and damage to their teeth. After more than 20 years with this practice, I can't go back. Dr. Brad was a real, honest dentist. When he died, it broke my heart. This practice is not the same level of care or honesty. During my 20+ years I have only had one root canal. During my cleaning visit today, everything is wrong with my teeth. I have "dangerous crowding of teeth", a tooth that needs an immediate root canal, multiple fillings that all need repair. They spent more time taking pictures of my teeth for the 4 person one hour consultation they want to schedule with me vs. cleaning my teeth. They took big pictures of cracks in my teeth to show me how bad my mouth was and told me they would have a financial representative in our meeting to see how best we could move forward financially. It was a very predatory and unethical visit. I'm 50, my fillings are 40 years old. No pain, no issues. When they identified a tooth they had "concerns with", they blew it with cold air. "Does that hurt? No? That might be worse... We will ask the doctor..." "Do you feel a stickiness? That's your bone turning into mush. This needs a root canal...urgently..." I feel badly for the future of this practice. I almost took the picture they have of Dr. Brad on their table with me. It felt like exploitation of a good man. read more

I went for service in late December. At the end of the visit I paid what they estimated insurance wouldn't cover. In early January got the statement from the insurance company CCDG had over charged me 180.50. They said the insurance company made a mistake and they resubmitted the claim. According to them they resubmitted the claim 3 times. Called the company who gave me the relevant information. CCDG owes me 180.50. Since then they refuse to return my calls. read more

I didn't start out my life being someone who disliked dentists, but by the time I hit thirty I'd had enough disastrous experiences at various dentists for me to decide that most dentists were incompetent or scam artists or both and my teeth were better left alone. Dr. Bradley Nassimbene happened to fit me for a bite plate and helped me out with a horrible experience I was having with just such a group of incompetent scam artists by giving me a free second opinion (feel free to read my review about Cherry Creek Modern if you are interested). My brief experience with him was so good that when I finally decided I needed to give dental work one more go, I made sure that I signed up for an insurance package that his dental group would take. I just had a check-up with him yesterday and absolutely everything about my appointment was awesome. The whole staff was timely, professional, and informative. I felt like I could trust him and his staff to care well for my teeth and to help me make appropriate dental work decisions, without the least concern that they were trying to milk me for cash. He's by far the best dentist I've ever had, and a caring professional in the community since 1999. read more

As a patient of Dr. Brad's since 2004, this used to be a great dental practice, but the level of care and attention has drastically decreased in the last 6 yrs. So much so that my complaints of feeling like I had a cavity and being assured for the last 4 years that there was nothing at all, ended up turning into a $1,000 root canal & crown after seeking a second opinion elsewhere. I don't know if this all started when Dr. Brad's struggle with all Phil resurfaced or when his dad, long-time hygienist and office manager all retired, but I am furious. The new office staff is disorganized and had trouble finding all of my files to transfer to my new dental office. Terrible place. There lack of customer service, poor hygiene and general lack of caring about a complaining customer led me down the "root canal" road with an additional cost to me of $950. When I spoke with Macy, the office manager, she immediately started making excuses and tried to convince me that placing a crown over a dirty tooth does not lead to a root canal, the internet and other experts to the contrary. For years I was Dr David Micklin's patient. He was excellent. I had temp filling before covid & was awaiting a crown when I learned Dr Micklin was recovering from Covid. I opted to wait for his return and informed office that I wouldn't return for cleaning. In June I got a call confirming my upcoming dental appt. Waited in my car due to safety restrictions. A staff member came out to inform me that "she" was ready for me. She? A hygienist. No way! Once again I stated that I would not risk covid exposure for a nonessential service. I left. By Oct I could wait no longer for crown. By that time they had moved to new office; Micklin was still recuperating. I noticed schedulers were sitting max 2 ft apart. Hygienist took the dreaded impressions. I returned for the temp crown, which was seated by hygienist. Dr Nyuen declared it fine. As soon as novocaine wore off I was in a world of hurt as the temp molar crown abraided inside of cheek, creating sores. I took ibuprofen. No help. Tried dental wax: no help. Cheek sores so painful. Called Dr Nyugen, who had left. He called back. No help. I called during weekend. More sores, unrelenting pain all weekend. No help. Finally got him to see me on Monday a.m. As soon as he took excess material from crown and reseated it all was fine. He assured me he'd not leave such a procedure to a hygienist again (for me). Soon I had permanent crown. Whew! In spring I called for cleaning appt after I'd had both Covid vaccine shots and vaccine was available to all health professionals. Day before appt called back to confirm hygienist was fully vaccinated. Scheduler wasn't allowed to say yes or no. Hygienist was to call that day - didn't. Next day called - she kept refusing call. Finally took call and when I asked if she'd had vaccine she said she was HIPPA-protected from answering as was everyone in office. I took that as a "no" and canceled the appt. immediately. Called 2 other recommended dentists who immediately assured me all their personnel were fully vaccinated. I made appt for deep cleaning, where safety precautions were far tighter than CCD. It saved me 3 extra cleaning appts and a great deal of money!! read more

If I could leave minus stars I would. I have gone to this practice for 20 years. It has been taken over by dentists who are in my opinion unethical and used predatory practices. I have had routine work done through the years and have excellent dental health. Suddenly since Dr Brad died and new owners took over I have, according to them, all kinds of dental problems. Not only that, but my husband who has excellent teeth and not one filling or crown they say has to have major work to be done. Same story for my friend and her husband and others I read on this site. Bottom line, I went for a second opinion and discovered that indeed I do not need any new crowns, nor fillings. I specifically asked if he saw any decay.... No!! The dentist at cherry creek came in and took maybe a minute to look at my tooth and said oh yes there is decay there and it will spread fast if you don't get it fixed ASAP. That sounded weird to me so I declined to make another appointment and went home and called Aspenwood Dental and had my records sent and made an appointment. If you need dental work from Cherry creek dental go get a second opinion. I am in the medical health field and I am appalled at the actions of this practice. I had been going to this practice for a number of years but today I went for e first time since the "new" practice. Like others have posted, I was immediate presented with upselling and a laundry list of issues that had never been mentioned but previous dentists. That refused to perform the standard cleaning that so scheduled claiming liability and insisting I needed a deep cleaning for $300+. I got to and walked out. On my way way you, to the office manager, approached me too say that 95 percent of previous patients were leaving for similar concerns. They are the best of the best! I always feel very safe and comfortable coming in to get my teeth cleaned.. Everyone is so nice and friendly.

I was a long-time patient of Dr. Brad, and went in for my first visit with the new ownership group. The best word I can use for my experience today is PREDATORY. Like other people who have posted comments here, I was in for a simple teeth cleaning, only to be bombarded with issue after issue, even though I am 40 years old and have never had a cavity. They refused to clean my teeth unless it was a "deep cleaning", that would necessitate multiple visits, and upon asking about cost the technician refused to divulge until I agreed to the procedure. I asked to have time to think about proceeding forward with this expensive and intrusive procedure, and to instead have a simple cleaning at my visit. The technician refused, noting I could leave or sign up for the extensive procedure. These people made me feel like I wasn't responsible for my body or bank account, and I am appauled that they are allowed to practice medicine. They are clearly only worried about making money, as I left with no teeth cleaning and no examination by a real doctor. read more
