We work 9 to 5 on weekdays, so anytime we have to or take care of anything during the week, is a blessing as it is. In the future, I would appreciate a timeframe, so we can take care of things from our end and we can be there before the tech arrives.

He asked me to let him know when the traps caught anything, and said he would return the next week. I kept him informed each time the traps killed a mouse, and he returned, set out some new traps, and checked the bait boxes. He informed me that he would return the next week to check on things. Multiple times, their office called to schedule when he would come out and I would tell them Tuesday, because that is when there is someone home. Multiple times he did not come on Tuesday, and when I asked if he was still coming he said he would come on Thursday. This can be very frustrating when someone takes off work in order to be home, and after the office specifically asked us what day worked for us, but ok. Well, this most recent time when he didn't come Tuesday and said he would come on Thursday, he never came and did not reach out to us. I let him know another mouse was killed and received no reply. It seems we have been ghosted, and I have no idea why.

The last appointment was rescheduled 4x and still have not seen them. A year later and our problem is still the same. What a waste of money. Terrible company and would not recommend.

I'm writing this review for my parents to share the frustration they have had since signing up with…read moreThe Killers (Salem location).  Signed up for service on 2-8-19 first service 2-12-19.  The next door neighbor has a hedge, that rats started hanging out in.  Then the rats thought it was a great idea to go into the house crawlspaces and garages.  My parents could not deal with this problem and wanted professional help getting rid of the rats.  They had Tom out for a quote and signed up, it seemed nice and easy.  They came out and put the bait stations and traps out in the yard, under the house, in the garage and inside the house.  They said they would be back in a couple weeks to check on the bait and traps.  My mom told them they need to call first to make sure they will be home, was told yes we will call first.  My parents would be gone to doctor appointments and The Killers would show up with no call, only being able to check the bait and traps in the yard.  My mom would call and leave a message for a call back and never get one.  She would call again a few days later and the same thing would happen.  I had to drive down from Beaverton 2 different times to get rid of rats in traps for my parents, since The Killers would not call back.  This is not a way to treat any customer, but especially the elderly and a double amputee in a wheelchair US Army Veteran.

Shad…read more It's been months since I wrote the previous review, and Shad continues to provide excellent service, always on time and thorough, if we have a problem, we just call and he either services right away our problem or on his next visit he will bring the correct pesticide for the job. We were lucky this year and got ants and fleas for the first time a couple months ago. We called Insight and Shad came right over even though we weren't due to be service for another 2 months. Then we saw Chad again on our regular scheduled visits. We couldn't't be happier.
