After getting her car towed to Amarillo and attempting to get it repaired on Sunday to no avail, I turned to Yelp for help. I found a shop with great reviews for helping stranded travelers, especially on weekends. I fired off a message and accidentally turned it into a project which added Bryan's Auto and Body to my message. And it's a good thing because Bryan was the only response I ever got. He said they could definitely get it looked at, but it would be Monday. It didn't take long to see this was as good as it was gonna get. But it got better when, not only were they able to get it looked at on Monday, but were able to get the alternator and flywheel replaced on Monday. Melissa and Bryan were tremendously helpful. I drove up to Amarillo to get my daughter back to Albuquerque and was working with them through Yelp messages, emails and phone calls. I have a great mechanic in DFW that took me years to luck into, but managed to find the same level of service through Yelp in a faraway city through apps and phone calls when I didn't have a clue where to go.
