Dialed the restaurant and found out we were about 3 miles away and CPH only has taxis - so we had to walk back to the city center to hail one. Front of the house was so graceful about the whole ordeal - told us not to worry and to just get their safely. Truly took the burden off us! The food - let it take you on a head to tail journey. Incredibly well thought out food - locally foraged and harvested ingredients. A beautiful bounty of Scandinavian ingredients, manipulated with the utmost precision. Chef presented several of the courses - inspiring to hear the descriptions from the creator himself and he was so authentically engaged when we peppered him with questions. At the end of the night it was a bit challenging getting a taxi back - even Chef got involved in the process. The humility and graciousness, stunning. All memorable and fantastic. Wouldn't change a thing.
This was the most underwhelming meal in Copenhagen for me. This review is a few weeks late (i…read morevisited CPH last month). The location is awesome, the staff are great and friendly. Chef Alan Bates was pretty good in conversation. But, the food just didn't hit the mark. I was there lunch time and ordered 5 course menu (they only have that for lunches, otherwise you can go for more traditional 9 course menu). The trout tart looked beautiful, didn't have much of wow factor in taste though. The pasta dish was good with ton of truffle shavings. The main meat dish was not at all there. I mean it was cooked nice but there was a side of tempura made from pig-brain if i remember correctly, and it was pretty bad!! Not fried well, was chewy and the fried batter coating got badly stuck on my teeth! Dessert was good.

Even the small maki were delicious and the rice was perfectly flavoured in all rolls. The vietnamese spring rolls will never be my favourite and were quite boring. However the fried roll with scallops was fantastic. Now it is very difficult to leave Omakase (for the time being) in order to continue browsing sushi..but we'll be back!!

Had 2 perfectly adequate bowls of ramen here. I got the yuzu and my partner got the tonkotsu. I…read morefeel like they used decent ingredients but the preparation was off. * The eggs were definitely boiled at too high of a temperature, they tried to go for a soft boil, but the outside of the yolk was congealed and the inside was cold. So the middle was good, there was a clear honest attempt at making good eggs, but the execution was off. * The pork was a bit leathery, but it's possible I was envisioning thicker chashu slices as opposed to the thin-cut stuff here * The broth flavors weren't too well balanced. The salt was really a touch too prominent. I think I'd still consider going here again, but I would definitely want to try other places in Copenhagen first. Back in Boston or California, I don't think this place would be able to hang.

It's a different ordering process, you order at a vending machine then pay at the front counter. I had the shoyu ramen. It was tasty, the pork in it was delicious and the broth was excellent. The table was reserved for 7:30, however I called them at 7:20 to change the reservation to 8:00 due to the train delayed. When I arrived, I saw 4 empty table in the middle of the restaurant, yet the waitress went to the corner table (towards the kitchen), picked up the employees jacket, bag, and their belonging, then asked me and my husband to sit there. I said no and asked why can't I sit elsewhere, simply because the smoke from the kitchen is too strong. The waitress said it is because they already have group reservation for 8 and 6 people at 8:00 in the empty table. Bear in mind that by the time we had this argument, it was already 8:15 and the table still unoccupied. At this point, I already felt like they just wanted to "get rid" of me and my husband by asking us to sit in the corner and be invincible. Super!

My miso is great and so thick that it looks like tonkotsu (it also tasted like tonkotsu when it got cold, which was not so nice anymore). They put extra chilli on the soup when you want it. Awesome! Three stars because: Sterile place, harsh light, this place looks more like a cheap Chinese take away than a ramen place. Maybe I'm more used to more sophisticated or authentic-looking ramen setting, but it just feels weird to be in this place and eating ramen, especially right smack in the middle of Frederiksberg where there are only cafes, bakeries, and Italian restaurants nearby. All in all, it's a new player in town, the more ramen place, the better.

It's located just next to the Frederiksberg shopping center, steps from the metro stop and near the Copenhagen Business School. Very good and affordable prices and portions are very big. Tried the chilli ramen with beef steak and kare lomen chicken. I simply loved the ramen just delicious. For a winter cold weather it is just perfect (if you like spicy food). I really recommend the CHILLI RAMEN.
