Was hospitalized at Corona regional for Lupus Nephritis for 6 of the scariest weeks of my life.Went into renal failure and on dialysis after 2 weeks of being in the hospital. Dr. Cheng was incompetent. He was rarely available and we he rarely came around, it felt rushed, he woud cut us off and wasnt willing to answer any of my familys questions.Short vague answers. Hospital could not deliver proper healthcare but was cashing in. We asked to get transferred to Loma Linda and he and the office staff used scare tactics and manipulation to keep us there. They didnt want a bad rep for the hospital(or themselves). Told my family that hey didnt know any better, they had it under control, and they couldnt transfer ( that would be admitting that the hospital was not capable of handling my case) they would have to release me and It would be stating our denial of their service and the possibity of my death during the transfer and it would be my family at fault. I knew I was dying because of that staff. We contacted a specialist near Cedar Sinai, that adviced us to see him immidiately. He sent me to Cedar as i was in really bad shape. Was taken off of all of the medication given to me in Corona(doctors were baffled by the treatment), off of dialysis, and treated properly. I was out of the hospital on the 8th day. Dr. Cheng was rude and arrogant and instilled fear. Find a doctor that isnt in it for the paycheck or the title and not there because of the passion and interest in modern medicine nor feels any compassion for his patients. read more
