So many options for popcorn. They had at least 30 different flavor options. We tried Carmel so far and it was delicious. Sometimes you worry about buying popcorn thinking maybe it's stale. That is not the case with this place. It was perfect. I highly recommend this place if you like popcorn. They also have candy, fudge, and some of the most unique pops to choose from. I believe we met the owner and his daughter today. They were so friendly. When my daughter wasn't sure what flavor to pick he let her test a sample. Customer service is top notch here.

If you haven't tried Chenez's Popcorn you need to get there as soon as possible! This locally owned gourmet popcorn shop is amazing and their popcorn is to die for! I've visited their Lockport location and they also have a second location in Olcott. It also is featured in certain local specialty food stores like Buffalo Artisan Food Traders. Another option is shopping online on their website and they will ship it right to your door! Their popcorn flavors are limitless from savory to specialty to plain to cheese to candied. There are sooo many choices! Some of my favorites are the Peanut Butter Crunch, Orangetastic and Buffalo Style! Recently they launched Shout Mix which is a special Buffalo Bills popcorn. It's blue and red popcorn tossed in a white chocolate and in the mix there's M&M's, pretzel sticks and peanuts....sooo good!!! I've chatted with the owner every time I've visited and he's super nice. They also have a small section of old school candy in-store and speciality bottles of unique sodas. Support this local business and get your popcorn on!!!

Chenez's Popcorn has been around selling their popcorn online and in other businesses. This week they finally opened up their own retail store to sell their amazing popcorn. When you walk in you notice a modern feel to the store. To your left you can look into a window and see them making the popcorn. Right at the door there are tables with 31 different kinds of popcorn that you can sample. Then you can pick out which kinds you want to buy. They come in 3 sizes. Small, medium and large. The prices vary for each size based on what kind of popcorn it is. For example, a small peaches & cream was $8 and a small salt & vinegar was $5. All depends on the type. They also sell bins of some flavors. They have the following type of flavors: savory, candied, chocolate, cheese, caramel, nutty, plain and simple, unconventional and insanely hot. My brother and I both picked out our two favorite kinds we tasted. I bought a small peaches and cream and apple crisp the total was around $17. He picked salt and vinegar and dill pickle the total was around $10. The lady working was really friendly and nice. She asked if we had the popcorn before and I told her the cotton candy and a few others. She also asked where we were from. Said it was really busy since they opened the other day. In addition to popcorn they sell snacks and tons of candy, especially old fashioned candy that you don't see at many places. They sell drinks as well that included some weird flavors like peanut butter and jelly soda and buffalo chicken wing soda to name a few. They sell t-shirts as well. Was a good experience and I definitely recommend going there. The hours are 11am-7pm Tuesday-Saturday and Sunday 12pm-4pm. Closed Mondays.

Amazing popcorn, been there many times. Far superior to all the other places in WNY.

It doesn't taste like cotton candy really, but it's still tasty and kids would love the pink and blue colors.

The space is cozy and very nostalgic. Nice space, there is space to sit and enjoy your snacks. The service was great. The options are endless, little overwhelming but Dave is very friendly and helpful in navigating. The combo creations are awesome. You can even build your own sodas and popcorns. There are even sugar free options on the sofa. Definitely something for everyone here. You could visit often and never have the same thing! He is also partnered with JBs bake shop. We tried the ozmopolitan soda lovely combination of sparkling water, peach, sour candy, strawberry boba and pink shimmer dust. I thought it sounded little sweet but it actually was not. Again there are tons of options but for popcorn we tried the You're my boy bleu, how bought them apples and yo quiero taco, all were very tasty, nice portions. You even get cute little tongs for eating. Even though I enjoy licking my fingers! Also ordered an apple spice loaf and banana pudding brownie for the JB bake shop desserts and they both were amazing! You can purchase gift cards as well, perfect stocking stuffers!

This…read moreseemed like a fun and delicious gift to add to my gift bags and show some love from our home city! Of course, I couldn't resist trying some myself! I loved the black truffle popcorn- garlic, black pepper, onion and black truffle yumminess pairs nicely with a glass of wine. I'm sure my wine-loving friends will also enjoy this particular flavor. I also tried the salted caramel popcorn. Salty and sweet at the same time, super tasty. I couldn't stop from digging in for more! I ordered 10 bags, many flavors I didn't try - yet. Yet. Hmm I'll have to show restraint or else these will be consumed before I even leave my house for the airport! Order 5 bags and owner Stephan will deliver locally to your doorstep for free. He's a very nice and friendly guy. Very bubbly with a smile on his face and love in his heart. He did me a big favor of bringing the goods to me in the suburbs. I'm on a tight schedule and probably wouldn't make it to his store that soon. So now I see gourmet flavored pretzels will also be offered by What's Poppin. Something new "flavor mastermind" Stephan has come up with! I'm looking forward to trying them. Hope you get a chance to try What's Poppin - a real treat!

I met the owner of this popcorn shop on December 10, 2019 at the Brewed Awakening Yelp Elite event…read more It was held at Buffalo Riverworks. One of the few flavors the owner had left--I didn't see his table until the end of the night--was the Sweet Coffee. It was quite good. I saw on Facebook recently that his business was vandalized. I wanted to support him and his employees so I decided to stop by this past Friday. I have an all or nothing attitude so when I really like something, I get excited and buy everything. That's basically what happened on Friday. The shop is really cute on the inside. They have fun decor. I was greeted with a friendly smile when I came in and the cashier/employee was cool. He was quick to answer any questions I had about certain varieties. They have many great kinds of popcorn for sale. The front of the bag has their logo, the name of the flavor, and a clear plastic part where you can see what the popcorn looks like. On the bag of the paper bag, it lists their address, phone number, email, and their website address. There is also an awesome quote on the back of the bag. (The joy of the journey is best measured by the friends not the miles.) I bought the Bloody Mary popcorn and the Health Freak popcorn for my best friend for her birthday. I didn't buy any of those for myself so I'm not sure how they taste. The Bloody Mary popcorn came with a small jar of Tabasco sauce. The Health Freak, per their website, is popped in avocado oil and Himalayan pink sea salt. I lost touch with my oldest friend over the last couple years. We've both been busy. I thought of getting her and her kids some popcorn as something fun. Every kind I bought for her, I bought myself as well. My favorite kind out of all of them that I bought is the Black Truffle. It tastes JUST like black truffle oil. It's salty and awesomely amazing. I can't wait to buy another bag soon. A close second for me is the loganberry flavor. It's flavorful and wonderful. It tastes like loganberry but in my opinion, it also tastes a bit like cotton candy. The loganberry is my friend's favorite flavor. My third favorite flavor is the S'Mores flavor. It's so great!! It is popcorn with Lucky Charms' marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, and Graham cracker pieces added in. It's quite delightful and oh so good!!! I ate the whole bag in one sitting. Queen City Mix is their own take on Chicago style popcorn. Chicago style popcorn is caramel and cheddar cheese popcorn mixed together. What's Pop-In's Queen City Mix is cheddar cheese popcorn and kettle corn. I really enjoyed it. The peanut butter cup flavor was really good. I had some in the morning with coffee. I enjoyed it. My Lil Lady is really good. It tastes like birthday cake. The White Chocolate Raspberry is okay. It has raspberry dust. The big chunks of dried raspberry are a bit much. They were too surprising and sugary for my friend. She really enjoyed that flavor though. It has small white chocolate chips in it. The popcorn in it is good. The pizza flavor is good but not as flavorful as I would like. The Buff Wing is spicy and makes my nose itch. It's not one of my favorites. The Mexican Street Corn and the jalapeño (like jalapeño poppers) flavors were my least favorite. They tasted like pepper and made me sneeze a lot. I went a little crazy and spent $148.72. I honestly don't regret it. I'm happy to support a local business that has such a great product. If I go in again, instead of ordering online, I want to try some new (to me) flavors like (SNV) salt and vinegar. I'm not sure if they had any other flavors besides that one that I didn't try yet but I'm definitely going to check it out soon. I implore you to support this local business. You don't have to spend as much as I did, just stop by, say hello, and buy a bag.
