I had seen online that it had an eatery, and was hoping they'd have breakfast, I was a little disappointed to see that it was a Subway. Oh well. They have a great selection and seem to have friendly staff. My big complaint was that a staff member--on both the occasions we were there--only had her face covered with a tiny face shield resting on her chin. Without a mask this seemed like a megaphone for COVID. We tried to avoid her when we could. We did gas up once and the man who took care of us was friendly and efficient.

Electric does not work on 2 of the 3 sites we rented and the third one made the power cord so hot it burned my husband when he disconnected not even 15 minutes later when we all left again without staying. Dry Creek Store is an absolute gem in the middle of Umpqua National Forest. Just about 17 miles east of Idleyld Park proper, they are easily accessible on Highway 138. The store is overflowing of all the little things you forgot to grab before leaving town. From beer to food, from kitchen basics to snow sleds... they have it all. The staff is delightful and so very friendly. Beware of the dogs in the store. They are furiously full of ferocious love and friendliness. They'll eat you up in kisses! Hanging out for a month in Idleyld Park, this place has been a lifesaver!
