It was fixed and back to me in a little over a week and the workmanship is wonderful; I can't tell it from the original. The price was very reasonable as well. I had another tack shop that quoted a price that was almost as much as a new bridle . There may be occasional delays on in-house repairs as Bobby travels to horse shows on a regular basis. However he told me that if my bridle was there at the shop when he returned that he would repair it that day and have it in the mail to me the next day. Absolutely a man of his word! I couldn't be more pleased.

I think they've moved north somewhere like Research blvd…read more Walking into this store, I felt seriously silly for bringing in four pairs of heels to fix (where the nail starts poking out of the bottom of the heel). It is one of those rough-and-tumble serious cowboy-gear-fixing shops, and here I saunter in with some cutesy narrow high heels. Nonetheless, they got the job done right quick, in a matter of two days. Original cost for heel repair is $12.50 but because I had brought in 4 pairs, he discounted it to $10 a pair. I've heard of other shoe repair shops that charge less, but I figured the cost of driving to Round Rock to save $2/pair wasn't worth it. All in all, good quick job, decent prices, pretty helpful service. It does in a pinch, but like I said my job request was rather simple & straightforward.

I had taken my briefcase to a shoe repair shop to have a patch put over a business logo and to be…read moreembossed with my initials. After almost 2 months I got my briefcase back with the ugliest leather patch imagineable on it and they said they couldn't emboss it because their tools were too old. I took the briefcase to Capitol Saddlery and the incredibly helpful gentleman quickly embossed the patch while I waited and did a perfect job. After looking at it for a while when I got home, I decided the patch is just too ugly and is ruining my nice briefcase so I ripped off the hideous patch and I plan to return to Capitol Saddlery next week to have them cover up the shoe shop's horrible work. I used to work right next to this place and could not help myself from browsing the cool horse…read morestuff. I just love the smell of a feed and tack store. They have lots of horse-themed books and toys, too and boots and britches. They also have a board outside where people advertise horses, lessons and boarding, so I like to drool over those. Someday. Sigh. I'd love to have a horse. They also have some dog stuff and I have bought some beautiful collars here. They are super nice about special-ordering and I found a ridiculous rhinestone-studded collar for my Gilbert T. Hounddog that I just love. Yeah, my dog is spoiled!! Its pretty kick-back -- across from Belterra on 290 W.
