I was entertained by Chef Daniel. He was born and raised in Italy in the Lazio region. I had talked…read morewith him a bit while he prepared a 36" Paella from scratch in the back yard of a dear friend's promotion ceremony. Although I have heard of Paellas being made by personal chefs or other 'specialty' catering companies, I thought it extremely challenging for Daniel to make it for a client, especially since there was going to be a Chef (me) attending the celebration. He even questioned me as to my credentials . . . I did the same with him. I think it's slightly a Chef thing. I figured Daniel caught on to me at that point when I was very curious as to his final product since Paella is one of the most technically difficult dishes to pull off. Since I had participated in a similar Paella party at one of my camping adventures in our RV, I knew the sequence that Daniel was following. He executed perfectly. I think Daniel also provided a bit of charcuterie as an appetizer, but it was the Paella that stole the show. Daniel even brought me a plastic fork (culinary school all over again) to test the creation as the rice was cooking to sample the flavor, consistency and doneness. BTW, Daniel even had a nice crusty bottom on that paella. Super nice guy. My five stars represents my hope for this company, although this was certainly not a five-star meal; it was however, a skillfully executed dinner party with Chef Daniel at the helm. Trying to get a hold of some of the other catering companies just to get a quote was such a hassle, but Kathryn was quick to get back to us. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly. The food turned out great! We still have guests talking about how much they loved the food. I would definitely recommend this company. They are flexible and easy to work with. Thank you, Kathryn and your team!

She also gave great suggestions for setup and food ideas. They were also able to serve traditional Filipino dishes, which not a lot of local catering companies knew how to do (many requested we find recipes for them). On the day of the wedding, Creative came early and worked well with our coordinator to set up a beautiful display for food. First, they served delicious hors d'oeuvres for our guests for the cocktail hour. All of our guests loved the lechon and the Korean fried chicken they served, so much so, we ran out of food quick! To top the night off, Creative served delicious carne asada fries (which also quickly ran out!) to our hungry guests after a night of a drinking. Their team was phenomenal and we would definitely recommend them for any large event or party!

This was for my husband's 40th birthday dinner. I was so excited for each course that I forgot to take many photos. The food was outstanding in taste and presentation. For example, my husband likes spicy food but the rest of us don't like the same extreme level of spicy. I in particular am a huge wimp when it comes to spicy food. But Chef Ron took this information and made a spicy dish that we all could enjoy and it didn't burn my tastebuds off. The vegan and vegetarian guest were especially appreciative that the dishes they were served were not just side dishes, but rather proper whole dishes very similar to what everyone else was eating with some brilliant alterations. All the guests had a great time and raved about the quality of the food, cooking, and presentation, but the way I know for a fact that they weren't just being polite in their words, was that after every single course the plates were practically licked clean. When I reached out to Chef Ron for this special birthday dinner I was looking for something that was restaurant quality and fun and wasn't stressful. Chef Ron checked all those boxes and then some. He was extremely easy to work with on the menu and was beyond professional and fun during his explanations of the dishes. I will be looking for another reason to hire him in the future.
