TL;DR - The Mangia Ghanja experience was amazing, and was just that -- a full-on experience. I've…read morebeen looking for something like this for a long while and this one takes the cake. It's rooted in respect and compassion for the healing benefits of cannabis, and a profound love for creating a unique and unforgettable culinary experience. It's absolutely both, and it's absolutely unforgettable. The details: It's important to note that this is a culinary experience just as much as a cannabis one, and perhaps even more so. Ivan and Anne do an incredible job as a team, and Ivan's dishes are outrageously good. There's also zero cannabis flavor in the dishes as he uses RSO (which also enables them to calculate the cannabis infusion to the mg). When my friend and I arrived to their beautiful home, there were stations with beverages and complimentary pre-dinner items. The home itself is stunning, with gorgeous views and a beautiful lounge area in the back with a fireplace and couches to hang out on (and smoke!) before dinner. It's truly hard to express how customized this experience and dinner is to whatever you want, and you will work with Ivan and Anne ahead of time over the phone/email/text to determine what courses you'd like, how much cannabis to infuse (it's totally up to you), as well as logistics. They even helped us arrange a ride from the city to their home and back with a private driver! I've attached pictures of the meal, and I could write a paragraph per course because they were all so special and so delicious. This was well worth the expense, and truly a fine dining experience. Lastly but not leastly, it's awesome to understand the story of how this came to be. After Ivan had a stroke and found miraculous progress using RSO, he and Anne turned to this to help other people too. It was so fascinating to hear the background and context from their perspective. They work as such a great team, and are such gracious hosts. If you're even slightly considering a cannabis infused culinary experience and you're in the area, you would be seriously missing out if you didn't at least consider Mangia Ghanja. I will be back every time our schedules and San Diego visits allow! 12/10 experience, thank you so much Anne and Ivan!

Ivan and Anne's energy was great over the phone, but was even better in person. Not only was the ambience really romantic with beautiful views, the food was perfectly cooked, seasoned well (a must for us!) & infused to each of our preferred level of chill. Anne and Ivan checked on us and adjusted as we progressed throughout the night. We felt SO welcomed & taken care of...even down to the way they packaged our leftovers and some extras! Most importantly, their love for each other and passion for what they do shines and they really made this night special for us! Side note: They do custom ordered meals (infused or non-infused), including cookies (which are bomb), too! 100000% recommend & worth it!!!

We were looking for an excellent caterer at a reasonable price for our wedding in La Jolla, we met…read morewith a caterer prior and tasted their food before we met up with Michelle. She was recommended by another caterer from Yelp who was not available to cater to us on our wedding day. Michelle very friendly, and prepped several dishes for us to try based on our selections. We were thrilled with the taste and quality of the dishes, and we decided to go with her! She visited our venue, worked with and already knew the event rentals owner very well, making it easy to coordinate given her expertise in organizing and planning. She reviewed our rental lists a few times to make sure we were both on the same page on what needed to be rented vs what she'll bring to the event. She also customized an exquisite acrylic "welcome to our wedding" sign for us, Free of Charge! It looked great and we truly appreciated it! On our wedding day, Michelle and her staff looked neat and contemporary with their uniforms, they were very good looking too, lol! They were efficient, busting their chops working at multiple fronts to set up, decorate, serve, take down and pack up. We still continue to receive compliments on the food, flavors, setup, and service. Many thanks to Michelle and her team for a job very well done!!!!!

I highly recommend Chef Mike and SushiMeRoLLN for any corporate event, meeting, or special occasion. This past Father's Day wouldn't be complete without some sweet and savory treats from Chef Silvana. I ordered the Father's Day Gift Box for my husband and was excited to see a good mix of pastries including beef and chicken empanadas, a purple corn alfajor (dulce de leche shortbread cookie) and a sweet "Dad" version of an alfajor. The dulce de leche just melts in your mouth and isn't overly sweet, but just enough. I also liked the pleasant surprise of a hard boiled egg in the empanadas. I requested the box to be delivered on the Saturday before so we can enjoy the goodies all weekend. La Cucina do Silvana delivered as promised on the morning of and was communicative throughout the process. Deliveries are free within a 5 mile radius and then $1 each mile after that. We did not miss out this last time. The cutie working (I cannot remember her name), was creating and serving up amazing Korean Rice/Noodle bowls. There was a variety of bases, proteins and sauces to choose from. There was a half & half option to choose from, which we did. We chose Purple Rice/Sweet Potato Noods as a base with Beef Bulgogi/Spicy Pork proteins and OG Gochujang Bomb/Soy Garlic Cilantro sauces. The latter was suggested by the young lady. Unequivocally one of the best things I've eaten in a very long time! Food truck, restaurant, homemade, whatever. This was fantastic! The rice, noodles and the proteins were in perfect harmony. The flavors were awesome and melded together perfectly. Spicy, garlicky, a tad of sweet. Textures, tastes, presentation, all 5-stars! Service was 5-stars also.
