I haven't heard of this store so I decided to look and I was pleasantly surprised. Aroma of a…read morecoffee shop was evident. Complimentary coffee was delicious. They specialize in gourmet kitchen items, popcorn and candy. All coffee is bulk bean but they will grind as well Flavored and unflavored is their specialty and they sell by the pound and or pre packaged. Popcorn store is located in its own section which offers samples of both. Linda was very helpful and knowledgeable of the fudge and popcorn. Fudge sample was a banana cheesecake and a sherbet that was delicious, popcorn samples were cheesecake as well and spicy popcorn x3. This area smelled popcorn fresh. Pricey but sales were available in bundle. This is the only location . Rewards program is available . Great inventory .

Had to go back to the Chef's Shoppe for some more lemon balsamic vinaigrette. This is a must stop…read moreshop for all things kitchen, unique gifts and tasty treats. They have a wide variety of fresh ground coffees (by the pound so you can try several before committing), numerous oil and vinegar options, a tasting bar featuring specialty items to sample, assortment of candies by the pound, homemade fudge, and a plethora of fresh made popcorns. I was waited on by a young man named Charles, who was one of the friendly sales associates that I have encountered in a long time. He was very helpful and patient. He represented the shop well.

The knives are still great but the store on Olive is not what it use to be. I went to get my knives…read moresharpened. They did not do them in the store, like they use to. No air conditioning, the two times I went in. The display tables are still covered in Winter/Christmas decor. My knive was dirty when I got it back. Just disappointed!

So, I stroll into the store at 10am on a Tuesday, bright-eyed and optimistic--it's knife-sharpening…read moreday! They'd just opened, and apparently, so had the portal to absurdity. I tell the guy I want the knives sharpened and ready for pickup that afternoon. Simple enough, right? Wrong. He informs me they ship the knives off to New York, and it takes 2-3 weeks. Weeks. Because clearly, these knives must undergo a spiritual journey before they're deemed worthy of being sharp again. I explain they aren't *that* dull and ask if they can just sharpen them in-house. He says they can--oh, but not the serrated knives, can opener, or scissors. Sure, no problem. I'll take those magical items home and entrust him with just the straight edges. Then he drops another gem: they can "touch up" the knives. Fine by me, as long as I get them back in the afternoon. But wait! Plot twist--he suddenly claims it'll take 2-3 *days* because they "have an event." An event? Are the knives the keynote speakers? Because the store was as empty as my patience at that point. I looked around, saw no sign of this mysterious "event," and finally hit my limit. I stormed out, muttering about how I'd apparently wandered into the Theater of the Absurd. Honestly, what a circus.
