It was decent but some of the food seemed cold. Overall I enjoy their selection of different foods. My fav is the shrimp.

This use to be my husband and i's go to restaurant while in PB. Our last trip here the chef was bringing out the cart of ingredients, and stops half way to blow his nose. He doesn't wash his hands, or sanitize, then continues pushing his cart to our table to begin to cook. I was pretty grossed out and won't be returning for awhile. read more

I love Chinese food and this place seemed to be okay at first. The food is average and has a good selection and some of it was very good especially sweet and sour chicken and the kebab. However the staff was very friendly in the back, but the ones at the front desk we're very hateful acting, grabbed the money out of my hand and never said Thank you or nothing. So I'm glad I don't have to return here because we are moving on tomorrow. read more

I have been to this restaurant many times and I enjoy their food. It's clean, the staff is friendly, the food is very delicious me and my boyfriend always go there when we our date nights. We arrived in town a few days ago to perform Disaster Relief for the Arkansas Mission Service in Wright Arkansas. During one of our Disaster Relief projects a local volunteer recommended we try Chef Lee for our last day in town. The seven of us dined at the buffet and it was unexpectedly clean, fresh looking and the food was awesome. I highly recommend Chef Lee. read more

Came early, about 530pm, thinking it would be better and fresher at this time, WRONG! On our first trip here several months ago, everything was great, all food, service, cleanliness. This time not so much, some food was pretty good, some of it was stone cold right off the steam table, don't know why either. Mentioned it to the waitress, but nothing was done about the temp of the food on that particular table. Was expecting so much better as a family friend was with us and it was his first time here, disappointed all around. Prolly will be quite a while before we come back here, not gonna drive an hour to get here for average or worse food. read more

The buffet is acceptable. The Hibachi is nice. The food in the buffet is to be expected. My favorite thing is the green bean dish, probably the only fresh thing out there. The food is well seasoned, just not fresh. They have a cold seafood table, which includes shrimp in the shell, mussels, and crayfish. They are not seasoned when cooked, so they taste like nothing. Standard Chinese food, nothing spectacular. They have a bunch of fried stuff to make the locals happy. read more

I could tell by the freshness and flavor of the food that the chef obviously does not share the lackadaisical and nonchalant attitude of the wait staff. Even buffet food can be tasty if you use fresh ingredients. Way to go chef! read more

My wife and I were traveling thru Pine Bluff and stopped at Walmart. After shopping we noticed chef Lees. Decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Food was fresh hot & delicious. Service was spot on. I have eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants & this is one of the better places. BIG selection of food. You can't go wrong here. read more

I have been here before and thought another visit would be good. When going to get my food it took 10 plates to get a clean one two bowls for soup to get a clean one and finally sitting to eat I noticed something floating in my drink when looking closer it was packed with food at the botom. It made me very sick they were being rude and didn't take care of me as a customer. We paid for our food as we left the woman behind register made a threat to me . Pine Bluff is an interesting place with some unusual quirks. After all what can you say about a city that actually named a large stretch of their main highway after the noted whack-job, noted tippler Martha Mitchell. After that discovery coming across the differences in the buffet at Chef Lee's when compared to others is not a total surprise. Unlike the aggrandizement of the "Mouth of the South" Chef Lee's differences is a very welcome discovery in Pine Bluff. Chef Lee's in in a strip mall on the south end of town across from the WalMart SuperCenter. It's a very clean, well decorated establishment. Restrooms spotless. There are about four or five steam tables. The usual Chinese favorites are there such as sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's chicken, pepper steak, fried rice, stir fried green beans, numerous shrimp dishes and many others. There is a chilled table with ice that had peel and eat shrimp, oysters on the half shell and imitation crab. There is also a salad/dessert table that must be at least 20 feet long. Lots of pastry and fruit. Where we diverge from the usual Chinese fare is the addition of BBQ chicken breasts, BBQ ribs, fried fish (catfish?), fried chicken tenders, fried shrimp. All very good too. The BBQ ribs were without a doubt the best thing on the whole buffet. Very meaty, not too fatty, tender without falling apart. I enjoyed myself. Standout items included: BBQ ribs, teriyaki chicken, spring rolls, stir fried green beans, General Tso's chicken. Everything was quite good. The only real criticism I had was that almost nothing was labeled. That being said, everything I had was very good, attentive if silent waitstaff and a very pleasant and clean dinning room. So was this a Chinese buffet with some BBQ items or was this a BBQ buffet with some Chinese items? Who cares! In a place a quirky as Pine Bluff Arkansas, just go! read more

Best Chinese food in PB. Wait staff good, but engrish skills a bit lacking. Have eaten both the grill and buffet. Grill overpriced. Buffet has expanded items that make it worth the price. Not the best Chinese place in the world, but for Southeast Arkansas, not bad at all. read more

We visited Chef Lee for the Buffett. There was a very large selection of both chinese and american foods. Most were prepared well, however there was a dried up roast that I had to cut to the middle to find any that was moist(yes, you cut your own slices). There were several bright spots, even though almost all the food was only warm, not hot. The frog legs were the best I've ever had, and crab rangoon was equal or better than we've had before. Good amount of food for around $10 each, but the servers were quite poor at refilling drinks. Next time were in Pine Bluff we'll try someplace else, but might go back if really wanting to chow down and not looking for a culinary experience. read more

I have made complaints to the management about the waitresses using the same cloth that they wipe the seats off and then proceed to use the same cloth to wipe the table. This is equivalent to going to the bathroom and wiping down the toilet seats and using the same cloth to wipe off the table where you are to dine. I do not want anyone to use a cloth where someones nasty butt has been sitting and then wiping my table down. They need to be reported to the Health Department. read more
